How do you view travel?

Travel has opened my eyes to the myriad of possibilties our world has to offer.

The most valuable element of travel has always been the relationships I've cultivated and the memories I've shared with others.

Seek beauty.

A truth I try my best to live by.

To strengthen the connection, I began seeking beauty through the destinations I traveled to.

In every itinerary I curated through the years, it became imperative to include a beautiful landscape or unique place to visit.

Soon after I started to ask, why not seek beauty elsewhere?

Within myself. In people. In nature. In everyday situations. In imperfection. In everything.

In both good times and bad.

Shared experiences are an integral part of our existence.

People are social beings, and therefore the company you keep has an enormous impact on the overall quality of your experiences.

We believe who you travel with is more important than where you go or what you do.

Group travel makes even the farthest and most exotic destinations feel safe and accessible. It affords travelers opportunities to collectively connect with local cultures on a more meaningful level and make a positive impact on the places they visit.

When you’re in a group, it will help push you outside your familiar to try new things. Through the support and confidence you gain from others, you are more inclined to step outside your comfort zone, and as a result you'll be glad you took the leap 😎

Earlier this year, I was invited as a guest on a NYT Best Selling Author and the founder of podcast to share my story 🎙

A story full of experiences.

Each of us gains a newfound depth of knowledge and understanding once we navigate through our very own experiences.

When you boldly share those experiences and the lessons you learned openly and freely, you speak directly to the people who may be going through a similar journey themselves.

In other words, you can use your own story to create a connection with others. We all have one, and someone needs to hear yours.

What's mine?

Prior to the pandemic, levels of isolation and loneliness were already at alarmingly high rates. Over the last three years, those numbers have risen higher and have even broken new records.

During my conversation with Rory, I shared my past struggles and highlighted my mission to have a positive impact on others, one connection at a time.

I share that through traveling, you are more inclined to take risks and step outside your comfort zone, and as a result, have enriching shared experiences, feel more connected and step into your stride - your true, authentic self.

People who have listened to our episode have reached out to me directly. They voiced their gratitude and have even accepted my support to help them through their own obstacles.

1 Year Later

I feel at peace. Each morning, I wake up excited and purposeful. My actions are aligned with my intentions.

This is Living

Exactly one year ago today, I left the familiar behind ✈️

At the time I felt lost, without much direction. I felt disconnected. I envisioned myself in a place where I could free myself from distractions. A place in nature where I could recharge, think clearly and put my ideas into action.

I relocated to Portugal, a country of beautiful landscapes, kind people and sunny weather 🇵🇹

Through stepping outside my comfort zone and taking the time to reflect on past experiences, I have transformed my own personal connection with myself.

I now have a better understanding of who I am, and more importantly, who I want to become.

By keeping relationships a priority, I have enhanced my connection with others. I created an incredible support system of reliable, wise and like-minded people around me. I created community.

Through healthy and conscious habits like prayer, meditation and gratitude, I have transcended my connection with the world around me. I feel alive. I’ve slowly removed aspects of my life that no longer serve me. I’m now left with actions that bring me joy and leave me fulfilled.

To fully live is to clearly define your values and have the integrity to live by them. When you love freely and create the necessary connection you require, you begin to feel fully alive.

You begin living.

NOVA’s in NOLA 🐊

This beautiful building, the St. Louis Cathedral, is a national historic landmark in the middle of it all. Fun fact: it’s the oldest cathedral in North America. Another fun fact: the city of New Orleans is eight feet under sea level on average and therefore all of its cemeteries are above ground tombs making it one of the most haunted cities in America 👻
