When life gives you lemons... Say screw the lemons and bail! LoL Almost bailed but glad I didn't miss out on round 3 of the at . I've been nursing a shoulder injury from racing moto a few weeks ago and a bunch of stress from getting our new online.
I rode conservative to ensure that I made it home in one piece and wanted to escape the reality of everyday life to ride bikes with my friends. I didn't have high expectations for results but it was harder to manage those expectations than what I thought. The mentality totally changes when you get setup in that start chute.
Made two big mistakes on stage one that put me in the dirt twice and cost me 10+ seconds and a shot at the podium. Disappointed in myself because I know that I'm stronger than my results but congrats to all my competitors! You boys were rippin! Ended up 6th in the Open Expert class and going home "healthy."
Thanks to for another awesome weekend of racing and .ely for talking me into going and helping with the camp supplies.
