The floors are done! Tomorrow the area rug for the living room will be put in place and the furniture brought back in. Now for dinner on The Boardwalk! I love being so close to all the Central Florida offerings!

Today at Jules—sanded all the rough spots and places where wood filler was used, stained the filler and baseboard trim, cleaned the floors, then wiped the entire area with stain again to blend. Tomorrow we will apply the Rejuvenate Floor System of cleaner and polish! Getting close!

Now, we are off to an evening my husband has had planned for a couple of months and I know nothing about! All he would tell me is when to be ready, that I should bring my Minnie Ears, and that we don’t need Disney Park reservations. It’s so fun that the house is this close to all things Disney!! Watch for pics later of the surprise!!

Today’s progress at Jules includes lots of tedious work! Next comes some staining, cleaning and polishing of the wood floors, finishing the hearth, and then hanging new bathroom doors! More updates coming this weekend!

Upgrades are happening at Jules in sunny Davenport, Florida!! The living room and dining room carpet is coming up and the original hardwood floors refinished in this charming 100 year old home!! Stay tuned for more progress pics throughout the week!!
