Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open this summer at Walt Disney World Resort! As part of this exciting announcement, we also got a first look at Princess Tiana in her adventure outfit - one of dozens of new Audio-Animatronics figures that will be featured in the attraction.

It’s almost EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival time!

This springtime festival runs from February 28 to May 27. It’s so beautiful to see EPCOT covered in character topiaries! And don’t forget the butterfly garden, scavenger hunts, tasty treats, and the Garden Rocks concert series!

What’s one of the most fun activities you can do at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? Painting the mural, of course!

Every day of the festival, from 11am to 5pm, guests can line up at the Expression Section and paint a few squares of a giant mural. You’ve given a small cup of paint (it’s permanent so be careful!) and a paint brush. A cast member will direct you to a spot on the mural and tell you how many squares you can paint. Which number square is determined by the number on top of your paint cup. One giant paint by numbers!

When you’re done, you’ll get a bookmark of the picture you helped contribute to!

This is so much fun for everyone, and something I look forward to every year!

Sometimes souvenirs aren’t Minnie ears and popcorn buckets. Sometimes they’re the littlest things that are daily reminders of your magical vacation.

In 2021, my grandmother asked for a tea towel from every country in EPCOT World Showplace. She was so happy when I got them for her, and rotates these in her kitchen.

It’s National Golden Retriever Day! 🐶

My golden retriever Carlii loves watching Dug Days, Bolt, and Lady and the Tramp.

Last week at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts I commissioned artwork of her name from the artists in the Odyssey Pavilion. This will hang proudly next to her caricature.

There are so many unique souvenirs you can bring home for your loved ones, even those with four legs and fur! Plus there’s a pet store at Disney Springs so you can bring Walt Disney World home to them!

So you’re at Walt Disney World and you’ve seen souvenirs you really want. But there’s no room left in your suitcase, or the item you want is too big or too fragile.

Did you know you can mail your souvenirs home?

When buying your items, ask the cast member to mail your items to your home. They’ll give you a paper to fill out with your mailing information, ring up your purchases, factor in shipping, and that’s it! The cast member will give you a copy of your receipt and tracking information for your purchases, then take your souvenirs for mailing. A few days to a week later, everything will be on your doorstep!

I always mail back souvenirs, especially if they’re too fragile for my suitcase! Cast members will wrap up fragile items to ensure they arrive safe, too!

Did you know that Magic Kingdom isn’t the only place you can get this tasty Dole Whip treat?

Dole Whip is a delicious pineapple soft serve treat first introduced to Walt Disney World Resort in 1984. It was created as cool, tasty snack that wouldn’t easily melt in the hot Florida sun.

And at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, you can visit Pineapple Lanai for all your Dole Whip needs! A cup of Dole Whip, vanilla soft serve, twist, or the Dole Whip Float are always on the menu. Sometimes there are different flavors available, too!

I’m at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts this week — my absolute favorite EPCOT festival! It’s a celebration of all things arts and music, complete with performances, interactive artwork, photo ops, delicious food, and — the best part — the Disney on Broadway Concert Series!

Some of my favorite things to do at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is painting the larger-than-life Paint by Numbers mural, learning how to draw a Disney character with an animator, and watching the chalk artists create beautiful pictures for all to enjoy! I always come home with a new art piece or two!

Bright suns!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is my favorite park, mostly because I’m a huge Star Wars fan. But still, it has so much to offer for such a small park!

If my party isn’t in Batuu, we’re at Muppetvision 3D, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, or Fantasmic—the best evening show in Walt Disney World! And don’t sleep on 50s Prime Time Cafe!

Tonight I experienced my first Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party!

The party allows you and your family to experience all you care to enjoy desserts and drinks, and VIP seats for the Happily Ever After fireworks!

There are two versions of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: pre-fireworks and post-fireworks.

Attendees watch the fireworks from a grassy area in front of the Plaza Restaurant, with an excellent view of the show. There is also a separate viewing area for those with accessibility needs.

This was such a fun experience, and I highly recommend this, especially if you’re celebrating or just want a great view of Happily Ever After! Let me know if you’d like to add this to your next trip!
