We arrived in Budapest seamlessly, thanks to Delta Airlines. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about flying the day after Thanksgiving but all went smoothly. Our pre- cruise stay at Hotel Matile Palace was lovely. We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck Spago's hosted by the amazing DMC for Riverside Luxury Cruise Line, thank you Carolyn Szekeres for a wonderful evening! My first full day on the Riverside Mozart was spent exploring the beautiful ship and enjoying the spectacular food. Now off to visit the sites and Christmas Markets!

What an amazing trip with some amazing clients! Splendors of Amalfi Coast & Sicily Tour 2023 was absolutely wonderful!

We spent 3 incredible days in Positano at a lovely beach side boutique hotel enjoying all that the Amalfi Coast offers. Clients hiked Path of Gods (amazing views), visited the Isle of Capri by charter boat and went up to Ravello for an amazing dinner and spent time on the beach. Then we jumped over to Sicily for the next 7 nights visiting Palermo, Caccamo, Erice, Cefalu, Taormina and Ortigia. Here we saw the Arab-Norman influence in the city of Palermo and the fabulous Cathedral of Monreale. The lovely mountain top medieval cities of Caccamo and Erice and seaside medieval city of Cefalù. Then on to the sumptuous seaside city of Taormina, stayed at another amazing boutique hotel. Our last stop in Sicily, the 2700 year old beautiful city of Ortigia.

Did you know Sicily is home to 7 UNESCO world heritage sites?

The food! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! We made Italian Sausage in Caccamo, had a chef's dinner at a local chef's home in Erice, enjoyed a fun cooking class with a local chef in Taormina, visiting the market with him to select the most freshest ingredients and had a great afternoon at a local boutique winery on the slopes of Mt Etna, enjoying a wine tasting and lunch!

Not only did we have an incredible trip, we made new friendships and hopefully some longtime travel partners!
