A few big thankyous.
1&2 Wayne - After posting on facebook for information about purchasing motorcycles in Asia, a Thai local called Wayne messaged with some suggestions. After a quick stalk, it turned out he had a mutual friend… turns out that he used to flat with my uncle! Wayne helped put us in contact with his local honda shop and even went in to speak to them in person for us. When we arrived, he even escorted us on his scooter to the edge of Phuket island to see us on our way.
3 Ten - After our chance encounter with Wayne, he put us in contact with Ten who was the most helpful person you could ask for. She organised everything for the bikes and ‘bent’ Thai law in the process.
4 Lin - After Kez crawled back to the hostel in Phnom Penh at an all time low after his phone was snatched. Lin was an absolute angel and helped translate at the police station.
5 Bing - Only a month and a half away from leaving home, the Chinese borders opened. Bing’s tour company was an absolute saviour.
6 Tenzin (2nd from right) - One of our tour guides for China. Incredible sense of humour. Never a dull moment.
7 Kunchok - Our second guide for China. Loved a dart.
8 Shah & Jia - Our companions across china, who stayed and looked after Stew in Kyrgyzstan while he was fresh out of hospital. Then kindly allowed him to travel with them in their car across Kazakhstan.
Thanks to those who have followed along, and everyone we met on our travels. You helped make it special.
