Built to commemorate Ghana’s independence on March 6, 1957, these monuments reflect the pride of being the first sub-Saharan African country to break free from colonial rule.

✨ Facts to Explore:
1️⃣Black Star Square, completed in 1961, is one of the largest public squares in Africa, hosting national parades, cultural events, and the annual Independence Day celebrations.

2️⃣ Independence Arch was constructed in 1961 and bears the inscription “Freedom and Justice”, a reminder of Ghana’s fight for sovereignty.
