All Night Bus ticket booking from private counters has been banned from 17th of August 2020. So please book your ticket only through online platform and for offline ticket please vist Rourkela New Bus Stand ticket counter. Any offline ticket issued by any agent or any third person outside the Rourkela New Bus stand will not be acceptable from 17.08.2020 onwards.

- There is a around the Shops and Market of Rourkela that the Timing of shops have been Changed To 6:00 am to 2:00 pm but its just a . Rather the Timing has been changed for Area not For Area. Still the Old timing to be in force for Rourkela i.e. 6:00 am to 8:30 pm. But during the weekend shutdown(Saturday and Sunday) upto 31st july same Timing as Ordered by DM, Collector Mr. Nikhil Pawan Kalyan will be in force i.e. 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (essential shops)

Many rumours started floating from 2,3 days that tomorrow (wednesday), administration will shutdown Rourkela due to increase number of Corona positive cases.

Today Sundargarh DM/Collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan clarified that there is no such idea has finalised for shutdown till now, and even if it will happen administration will inform public prior to this.

It is noteworthy that in last 24hours, 51 corona positive cases has detected in Sundargarh dist.
