Splash pad was built on to the cottage (our residence) in the 1960's and originally used as part of a B & B which once was, it has its own private entrance with 2 foot granite walls between our cottage and the addition of Splash Pad. Situated on the main road in Carbis Bay we are centrally located
for easy reach of beaches, St Ives, coastal paths, train station, bus stop, convenience shop and chemist. Please note; we are not on leafy quiet lane, expect some road noise. Splash pad is next door to our cottage and set over two floors; downstairs has a small open plan living space with kitchenette; microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer (no cooker/hob /washing machine) table for two, 2 x sofas, radio and TV. Upstairs has a separate loo, one bedroom to the front with a king size bed with original retro vanity unit. The second room situated at the back has a separate shower and dressing area with views over our garden and out to sea. Towels, Bed Linen & Beach towels provided. PLEASE NOTE : We do not have private parking or Wifi. We host a cosy, traditional, clean interior, with white bedding, white towels and beach towels along with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. We are a perfect base to explore West Cornwall, Carbis Bay & St Ives and experience the vast range of beaches, attractions, galleries, restaurants and cafes on offer, whilst soaking up the Cornish relaxed vibe. Our Kitchenette offers the flexibility to bring back take aways and prepare, breakfasts and light bites that do not require a cooker or hob. Guest access
Centrally located on the main road in Carbis Bay, easy access to amenities. 10 minutes walk to beach, train station & Coast path. Shop & Chemist 3 minutes, Bus stop 4 minutes. Restaurants & cafe 3 to 10 mins. Parking can be found on on Richmond Way/Polwithen Drive or other side streets, we also recommend using the Just park app as people do rent parking spaces out. The bus stop is outside the house and across the road. Easy access to walk into St Ives by road or coastal footpath, 35-40 mins walking time. The branch line train station is 8 to 10 minute walk, and takes you to St Ives & St Erth. St Erth connects with the main line to Penzance / Paddington
PLEASE NOTE:
There is no wifi due to the age of our cottage and the thick granite walls. It is too temperamental to offer at present. The Kitchenette does not have a cooker or washing machine. Our property is a clean good space, but not boutique. We provide Towels, Bed Linen & Beach towels. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits.
