WE 💚 ZAWOORA

Today as on 26.06.2022, we at Jammu & Kashmir Eco-Watch organised the informal Trekking Program from Zawoora to Brein in which the Green Members of Go Green Zawoora - JKEW actively participated.

The Trekking Program was part of our ° Campaign under Kashmir Tourism Project - KGECL .

The enjoyed the time with nature and appreciated the steps taken by J&K Eco-Watch for promoting the in in general and in particular.

I am extremely thankful to Mr. Bilal Bhat, Project Director, Go Green Khonmoh - JKEW for providing all possible help and support to make this today's event a grand success.

I am also greatful to my Core Team of Go Green Zawoora for pledging their full support for VIHI District Eco-Restoration Project endorsed by UN - Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, 2021-2030.

We are indebted to Mr. Irfan Ali Shah, (IFS) CF South J&K Forest Department and Mr. Sheikh Mehraj, DFO, Forest Division, Awantipora for their collaboration for today's event and they assured to develop to Trekking Route on priority and will train the local youth for Green Skill Development & Green Jobs.

Thanks to all the stakeholders for their unconditional love and support for making Greener & Cleaner .

I am happy to share that, J&K Forest Department under the able leadership of Dr. Mohit Gera, PCCF & HoFF announced the setting up of from Gosain Nar to Wasturwan, Pampore.

The Trekking Route will offer great experience to all those professional trekkers, who are waiting to scale mount [3000 Meters ASL] in Landscape.

I am extremely thankful to Dr. Sheikh Mehraj, DFO, J&K Forest Department (Awantipora Forest Division) for approving the Trekking Route to Wasturwan Top and compliment his tireless efforts for giving special attention Forest Range Pampore and developing at , Pampore - Saffron Town.

Thanks to Department of Wildlife Protection, Jammu and Kashmir for supporting the VIHI District Eco-Restoration Project endorsed by UN - Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, 2021-2030.

I must congratulate our headed by Nadeem Ahmad Dar, Project Director for developing Cross-Sectoral collaboration with various Governmental Departments and Local Institutions.
