I am 47 days away from my next Disney World trip and I need to practice what i preach 🫣🫣🫣 Check back with me next week to see if I've ordered my last pair of Mickey ears (the Chewbacca ones 🤣) to get in the mail before my trip!!!

Disney resorts just hit different to me…the amenities, customer service, theming, and more, is just so much better than an offsite hotel, that I will likely choose to go to a Value Disney World resort instead of a Disneyland offsite hotel. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Yes, Disneyland wins out in terms of cost here, but the experience at WDW to me is just superior!!!
What would you choose???

I’ll be making a separate post JUST for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but for now, here are some park updates you should know about!!!

👒 Tiana’s - Is opening on june 28th! Disney may have accidentally spilled the beans a little too early though - they posted (and then took down) a press release announcing the opening day, which they also announced on american idol later that evening. 🐸

🎃 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) - TODAY, May 15th, you can now book your tickets for mickey’s not so scary halloween party! Get that fast before they sell out! 👻

🌟 New Disability Access Service goes into effect - May 20th, the new DAS (Disability access service) rules go into effect. Registration will now be via online video chat, your service will now be eligible for 120 days (instead of 30), and this service is now specifically for guests with a developmental disability like autism or similar who are unable to wait in a queue for an extended period of time.

💴 Disney’s FREE services - believe it or not, disney does offer free services! No, its not the “magical express” they used to offer as free transportation to the resorts, but it IS free planning services and a personal booking assistant! 🫢

It’s not the 4th of July and it’s not Christmas…THIS IS HALLOWEEN! Disney just released their 2024 dates for both Disneyland AND Disney World Halloween parties!

Every year, Disney hosts INSANE Halloween parties, which are separately ticketed events for guests ready to get their ✨spook✨ on.

Tickets go on sale for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary 🫢Halloween Party on May 15th for all Disney World guests, but tickets are already available for those with resort reservations during August-October. 🎃

Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash 👻 at Disneyland go on sale soon, but a date has not been disclosed yet. Check back for more details later!

At these events, you’ll enjoy trick or treating 🍬, endless snacks and drinks (both the kid and adult kinds 👀), low wait times, exclusive parades and shows, costumes, and SO MUCH MORE!

How you can save on your Disney trip RIGHT NOW!

1. Don’t wait!!! ⏰We know this, but prices for EVERYTHING just keep going up and up and up. So one of the most practical ways to save on your future vacations is to book them right now before prices are raised. Disney does plan to raise ticket prices pretty much every year, 😭and resort prices are still increasing (and selling out). So do yourself and your friends a favor and plan that trip right NOW!

2. “Future Stay” offer!!! When you go on a Disney vacation, you are offered a discount on a future trip, as long as you book within 7 days of your checkout date. These discounts range from 25-35% off!!!! There is rarely any other time you can get that much discounted off your Disney trip, so take advantage of that offer - you know you’re coming back anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

3. Use a travel agent!!! 🫢 Honestly, we know the best deals as soon as they drop (and before they’re announced) so make sure you book your trip with a Disney Travel Agent like me! We can even get you deals on trips you have ALREADY booked (as long as it’s within 30 days of your booking)! 💕✨💕✨💕✨

Could YOU spend a whole day in Galaxy’s Edge? 🤔As someone who hasn’t been an avid follower of the entire Star Wars universe, I can’t say I would, but I DO have clients who plan on doing this! This is your Disney Adult guide on when to:

I have made every single one of these Disney parks mistakes 😭 And luckily I did it first so you don’t have to. If you’re a Disney adult you probably already know these, but even some Disney adults don’t go to the parks often, so follow me 💕 and use these tips on your next trip!

Thinking you can just “wing it” -
Sure, you can ✨maybe✨ buy a ticket when you get to the parks, or ✨maybe✨ find a Good sit down meal without reservations…but it’s NOT likely. Make one dining reservation a day, and buy everything you can in advance - and thank me later!

Having wrong expectations ❌-
If you go to the Disney parks thinking 💭 that you’re going to do it all, you’ll leave SO upset and discouraged. Your vacation is supposed to FEEL like a vacation, so give yourself some rest and know that you won’t do it all - and that’s okay!

Not taking a break -
Please. Please. Please. 🙏🏼 Find time to take a break in the middle of your days, AND in the middle of your trip. I find that I’m more refreshed and less cranky when I have a rest day between park days. Go to the pool, sleep in, explore your resort, do something restful! 💕

I don’t have kids yet, so almost EVERY time I go to Disney it’s “adults only” anyway 😂 But here’s what I’ve found to be SO helpful to make your trip feel more “grown up” in Disney! 💕
