.sociallife Always great to meet likeminded people who share your passion for unusual events, 6 of us went to The Bridgerton Ball om Sunday night and what a ball we had. We were transported to 1813, the décor the atmosphere, the ambience was truly amazing.

Lots of acting, dancing, loved the Queens dress absolutely stunning, everyone made an effect to dress up in this era, everyone looked gorgeous the food was great too as well as the cocktails. Lovely meeting newbies in the group, so glad they had a great experience

This is us at the end of the Bridgerton Ball, we were not allowed to take any photos during the whole experience our phones where placed in a pouch which had a lock.

We got stuck on the way back as there was a match at Wembley stadium, the amount of football fans, we've never seen anything like it, well done Rachel for leaving early. They were a peaceful crowd singing and chanting, it was a very long walk to the station (pigeon step walks)

I love secrets cinema and looking forward to the next one 😄

Hey if you love yourself so much why don't you treat yourself to a spa weekend away, with a scrumptious afternoon tea and prosecco in the vibrate city of Bristol. Don't wait for that special someone to come along to take you, you maybe waiting a very long time, treat yourself i often do as much as i can, as i am so worth it. If your all loved up join us too, would be great to have you on board.

Life is way too short we work too damn hard, let's melt the stresses of work, family and the stresses of life away as we enjoy a full day at Bannatyne’s Spa, with an opportunity to use all their spa facilities including a treatment of your choice.

Bristol is a city straddling the River Avon in the southwest of England with a prosperous maritime history. Its former city-centre port is now a cultural hub, the Harbourside, where the M Shed museum explores local social and industrial heritage. The harbour's 19th-century warehouses now contain restaurants, shops and cultural institutions such as contemporary art gallery The Arnolfini.

Bannatyne's Health Club is one of the largest independently-owned health club operators in the UK. Founded by Scottish businessman Duncan Bannatyne, most famous for his appearance as a business angel on the BBC programme Dragons' Den.

With the mantra of relaxing the mind, soothing the soul and lifting the spirit, the chain boasts spacious therapy rooms designed to provide a calm and relaxing environment. Gym facilities are available at over 60 locations, and each venue typically includes relaxation areas, treatment areas, spray tan rooms and cafe lounges.

The hotel and spa will be taking steps to help protect our health by following all applicable laws and regulations concerning COVID-19 safety.

31/12/2021

Nearly 30 of us visited Portsmouth for the day earlier this year and had such a lovely time.

Let's England's southern coast and the Isle of Wight on a 3 day tour from London. One of Queen Victoria's favourite holiday destinations, the Isle of Wight is home to beaches, white sea cliffs, and historical remnants from the Normans, Romans, and two world wars. We will stay two nights at 3-star hotels or bed and breakfasts, see Victoria's former house, and visit the home of Bombay Sapphire gin on the mainland. By booking this tour, you can avoid the hassle of finding your own way south from London, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy a pre-planned trip. Explore the Isle of Wight on a round-trip 3-day tour from London Skip the stress of renting a car and figuring out how to get there yourself. Let's see another side of England outside of the bustling capital Transport and accommodation provided for a worry-free experience

Get your sunglasses and sun cream ready, as we depart London and head to the sunny, southern Isle of Wight. First, head to the ancient port-city of Portsmouth. This bustling spot blends modern marvels with centuries of sea-faring stories. We will grab a bite to eat here before our guide picks us up and take us to the ferry at Gunwharf Terminal. It takes less than an hour, there will plenty of onboard refreshments.

Our first stop on the Isle of Wight is the important religious site of Quarr Abbey. The building here is beautiful and combines French, Byzantine, and Moorish designs. We will meet some real local heroes. In the evening, you'll arrive at the unforgettably quaint village of Shanklin in time for an early dinner.

Day 2:

Today, we will discover the unmissable highlights of the Isle of Wight. After an enjoyable breakfast we will venture to the Yarborough Monument. This is the tallest monument on the island and celebrates the life of a wealthy earl from the 19th century. Continue to a photo-stop at the beautiful views of endless green fields at Brading Downs and then head to Osborne House - Queen Victoria's holiday destination! Explore the Italian-style building and discover pristine green gardens, ornate golden rooms, and historically fascinating artefacts.

After witnessing that magnificent man-made marvel, it’s time to see the Isle of Wight’s most beautiful natural wonder, the Needles. These sharp white stacks that stick out of the ocean are beautiful to behold. You can hop on a boat to get close to them and venture to an old defensive battery that’s nearby.

Our last stop today is at the cliffs of St. Catherine’s Down. As the sun starts to set, these epic cliffs and green valleys look stunning. We travel back to Shanklin in time for dinner.

Day 3:

In the morning, say goodbye to Shanklin and head on the ferry back to Portsmouth. Now that you’ve reacquainted yourself with the mainland, travel to one of England’s most history-soaked cities, Wi******er. Visit the glorious cathedral, an ancient mill, cute cafes, and more than enough museums.

After We have studied up on the history of England, it’s time to go have some fun. Visit the home of one of the world’s most popular gins, Bombay Sapphire. Once you’ve had enough of the tipple, it’s time to head back to London. Make a short stop at Runnymede before arriving in London in the evening.

12th March
3 Day Tour of Snowdonia, Wales, and Chester, Plus 1 Nights in Manchester

If your looking for a well deserved break in the UK, join me as we discover national parks, castles, and coastal towns, as the Welsh scenery takes your breath away. Explore the natural landscape from the comfort of a luxury, 16 seat mini-coach, on a 3-day tour from Manchester.

Manchester is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. The Castlefield conservation area’s 18th-century canal system recalls the city’s days as a textile powerhouse, and visitors can trace this history at the interactive Museum of Science & Industry. The revitalised Salford Quays dockyards now house the Daniel Libeskind-designed Imperial War Museum North and the Lowry cultural centre.

Day 1

We leave London Euston at 8am to Manchester Piccadilly, on our arrival we embark on a mini coach where our experienced driver and guide awaits as we are transported from Manchester to the border of Wales

We will visit Conwy and explore the town and its award-winning, picturesque harbor. View a castle perched by the sea, the "world’s smallest house", and traditional restaurants boasting the best fish and chips. Travel to the Llanberis Slate Museum, after you've soaked up the sea air, and learn about the history of the second largest slate mine in the world.

We continue to Beddgelert, known as the "loveliest" village in Snowdonia. Admire the beautiful architecture of the stone houses and arched bridges. Travel through the heart of Snowdonia as the evening comes, arriving at your overnight stop in Aberystwyth.

Day 2: Aberystwyth to New Quay

We set off from Aberystwyth in the morning for the colorful seaside town of New Quay. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the picturesque beach or grab an ice cream. Visit Laugharne, and stand in awe before this village’s towering castle.

We carry on towards Carreg Cennen, an imposing fortress perched on top of a hill, nestled within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Roam across the ramparts and experience stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape. Let's visit Newton House, a palatial building that boasts rich gardens, unique architecture, and famous ghost stories, before returning to Aberystwyth later on that evening.

Day 3: Harlech Castle and Chester

Watch Snowdonia’s mountains fly by as we make our way to Harlech Castle, one of the most popular castles to see in the whole of the UK. Take the chance to witness the sea views and learn about its war-torn history.

We will stop for lunch in the little village of Betws-Y-Coed before journeying to one of England’s most historic towns, Chester. Head to the cathedral, rebuilt in the Gothic style from 1250 onward. Arrive back in Manchester in the early evening were we will spend the night in a hotel nearby.

Day 4

Our last day with late check out at 12 noon, relax chill and enjoy Manchester for the day.

Come join us for a lovely Sunday Walk along Little Venice Canal to Camden Town From Paddington station Tomorrow from 12 - 3pm

Up for a lovely stroll to Camden from Paddington station on a Sunday afternoon, if so come join me if your free.

Fed up of waiting on friends to get out and about? Don't wait on them just do it, join us for a fun day out meeting new people who love to do the things you like.

We will walk along the canal through to Little Venice, with several house boats and floating cafés on the Little Venice junction. London's Little Venice is a tranquil canal area, home to quirky waterside cafes, cosy pubs and charming restaurants.

Regent's Canal is a canal across an area just north of central London, England. It provides a link from the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal, 550 yards north-west of Paddington Basin in the west, to the Limehouse Basin and the River Thames in east London. The canal is 8.6 miles long.

J. K. Rowling, Michael Bond, Earl Spencer, Paul Weller and Madonna all live, or have lived, along the route. While we are unlikely to see any celebs in their back gardens, keep your eyes peeled for Egyptian geese: a rare African bird that has made a new home for itself on the canal.

The walk will take up to 2 hours, we will stop to take some beautiful photos for Instagram for friends to envy and wished they joined too lol.

We will explore the scenic Regent’s Canal and stroll up to Camden Market, passing the famous Feng Shang Princess Floating Restaurant, where we had a delicious meal a while ago before the first lockdown.

Once in Camden you can shop till we drop, it's busy and vibrate with lots of unique traders selling amazing wares, with over 1000 shops and stalls selling fashion, music, art and food next to Camden Lock.

Come prepared with comfy walking shoes for this lengthy stroll.
Please arrive 10 minutes before 12 noon

Price £7
