Swimming with the sharks enjoying the last dive of this trip in BVI.
We are Mark and Lorraine Flannery, known as the Pink and Blue Divers.
We are a husband and wife who love to scuba dive and share our adventures with our family, friends, and those we meet along the way.
Swimming with the sharks enjoying the last dive of this trip in BVI.
First dive day of 2024 not too shabby! Learned all about the second and last ship ever to be called “unsinkable” (we all know about Titanic- after that they called this one unsinkable and quickly thereafter it sunk killing an unknown amount of people no less then 125) they never claimed another boat to be unsinkable (thank God)!
🐙 during the day- always fun to watch!!
Love love love turtles…. And this queen wanted her photo shoot!
Sometimes I’m soooo pink I glow or I turn the picture shades of pink 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ whoops.. we are looking sharp in our new wings- thanks Love. We are Pink and Blue divers!! ❤️
Our new custom wings are in. We are so excited to dive with them on our next trip. Thank you zen dive for making it happen. You rock!!!!
At Turneffe Island Resort for some awesome diving. Today we hit 60 dives at Turneffe Island Resort. What’s special about that? It has now surpassed Cozumel as the location we have the most dives at. Hoping to add another 24 dives to that number over the next couple of weeks. We were visited today by a dolphin and a pod of 7 eagle rays. It was a fantastic day.
Thousands of Barracuda- we couldn’t capture how many were around us! Galápagos did not disappoint!!!!!! And the Tiburon live aboard dive boat and crew were PERFECT! Can’t wait to go back!
We hit 560 dives!!! We are on track to hit 600 dives in January. Until then we will continue to enjoy the beauty of Curaçao- here for work and play but the play is much more fun!
Supporting the Dive Team at this event & hopefully getting kids excited to dive! Hard to excite people at our booth when one side of us is the bomb squad and K9 on the other 😆
Very excited to try out more new gear this week. Scubapro S-Tek backplate + wing in pink and blue (of course) our the newest additions to our scuba lineup. We will be in the pool for a couple of sessions to dial things in before heading out to Catalina this weekend to break these bad boys in. I love my scuba wife and our scuba life!
Today we got certified for drysuit diving.. at Refugio beach- beautiful morning. We ran into Tim who is part of the SARs dive team and originally certified Mark to be a scuba diver in 1988 AND was the instructor who also re-certified both Mark and I 5 yrs ago…. Such a great day! So grateful for all the experience and knowledge around us!
Spent Sunday at Lake Piru training with the SARs Dive Team. We posted videos on my personal page but wanted to share here too. It was such a great day at the lake learning to drive the inflatable and jumping out of the helicopter in full Scuba! After spending every week with our group for months to get through the academy we missed this group! 😆
When the British and French went to war during the American Revolutionary War time … the British cut the French anchors during the battle for St Kitts and the sugar cane fields- which was worth more than gold…. they cut many anchors… here is one from 1782!
Lorraine and I are excited to be part of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Dive Team!!
After 100+ hours of training and many months of classroom and training in the water - we passed our written practical finals. We hope there is never a need for us, but we are excited to be able to give back to our community if called upon!
When Woody hooks Little Bo-Peep it’s to infinity and beyond… I’ll be your favorite deputy …your whatever! Thank you for 500 dives in 5 years! I think 100 dives a year has been done love -125 a year, new goal?! To all our adventures.. I love you! 💕
Happy 4th of July from Honduras!!!!
Need your help. We are heading to Honduras in a few weeks. Many rural village schools in Honduras don’t have even the most basic school supplies like pencils, erasers, notebooks, or crayons. We are bringing at least 2 suitcases filled with all of these above needed items… and more for the kids like glue sticks and coloring books. What we are missing are reading books.
As you all clean out school stuff we are looking to see if anyone has anything to donate. We don’t have educational or reading books, K- young adult. If you have any books - fun reading or educational that you are willing to donate - I’d be happy to go around and collect them, even if just one book. If you have school supplies you’d like to donate as well- happy to come and get those too. They have so little thanks for helping if you can! Message me if you would like to donate. Hoping to fill another suitcase with books! 😊
Below is one of the many ways to help- we are not using this organization as we are bringing the items with us to donate - but in case you were curious of what is needed.

School Supplies and Teaching Materials Imagine learning to read and write without a book, paper, or a pencil? Imagine trying to draw a picture without crayons? Honduran public schools, particularly those in rural areas, receive no money from the government for basic school supplies; therefore it fal...
Another beautiful day of diving with my beautiful Pink Diver in this Hawaiian paradise. Thanks babe for putting up with my diving addiction.
Frog fish are awesome! Look at that face!!! He almost looks sad, like he doesn’t want us to leave 💙
Lovin the Lava - so beautiful!!
Beautiful Mantas off Kaehole Point, Hawaii. Love these majestic animals. 💙
Good morning!!!!
Diving with Dive Experience, Sam had speared a lion fish and these hungry guys came swimming in trying to find it…. This shark tried to take his spear gun!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and best wishes for the New Year. We hope our paths cross again underwater somewhere this next year (hopefully somewhere tropical and warm with crystal clear water)!!!
The staff surprised us on our last day with a beautifully decorated room- an extremely thoughtful celebration for our anniversary! Such a great stay- can’t wait to go back! ❤️
So grateful with the time I got to spend with the most special person in my life. Lorraine Flannery, I love our time together on our trips.
Shripwrecks, silversides and swim throughs- my husband is such an amazing photographer! I love you Babe - thanks for the adventures. ❤️🐠🐡🦀

A great place to come if you’re looking for some diving in Honduras! We liked it here overall better than Anthony Keys however neither would disappoint. They did a great job here with everything - food, diving, staff and just ease of everything! They take you all around the island - 3 dives a day and best of all if your group is big enough you could have this entire place to yourself! Such a great dive shop trip option! And still an easy place to travel with minimal COVID concerns or restraints. 🐙🦑🦞🦀🐬🐟🐠🐡
