A brisk walk on the Sea Point promenade and we counted 16 Paragliders floating above Signal Hill! The season has started 👏🏻. I took one pic of the highest paraglide I’ve ever seen. A bird’s eye view of note!! Still some leftover stormy seas from the 6m swells we’ve had and very foamy ….

Such a beautiful morning here in Knysna! While the husbands are fishing with Keith Tait, Kirsty and Samantha from the UK are on the Paddle Cruiser (Spirit of Knysna is busy having a makeover), to the Knysna Heads for an Eco Experience and buffet.. an excursion that one shouldn’t miss when you’re visiting the Jewel of the Garden Route!

February 2012 I did a tour for a family of 3, took them on a few days with me and today I have just had another enquiry after all these years from them. Their son was 15, he is now 27! ... makes my heart sing. Not the first time I'm getting repeat and referral tours. But exciting to see people after 10 years and beyond coming back. Being in the Tourism industry for 18 years this year, I am proud to say that what I have done, I have done with enthusiasm, attention to detail, spontaneity, guts, an adventurous spirit, tuned in intuition, punctuality, authenticity, a sense of urgency and vibrancy. I am just so grateful!

A busy day so far with the Barbets in my garden. Parents are feeding and they’re calling with both nasal and typical calls.. seeing the chick I wonder who is fooling who as it’s as big as an adult! Saw the three together and you just can not differentiate between male and female or adult and chick. But it’s their second breeding in the log and so much joy to watch and listen to them.

In Buddhism, the halo is usually thought to be an omen of good luck. ‘Iridescent clouds’, a phenomenon where thin grey clouds reflecting sunlight can appear to be rainbow-coloured, is interpreted as good omen. Seen today, from my pool.. admiring the miracles above 🌅☄️☀️🌞
