Another HUGE mistake I made taking my toddler to Disney and it seems like such an obvious one...
The biggest reason I ended up waking her up is because she was really only into face characters, so this was one of the few we were meeting AND I had been waiting in time for a while. But I’m here to tell you.... suck it up 🤣
Lose the 10-20 minutes you were waiting in line already, stay 10-20 minutes longer before you leave for your break and LET THAT TODDLER NAP 👏

‼️Do NOT get stuck without a seat, or a seat in the Orlando heat, if you don’t have to!
Our first time eating here, we did not know about this additional seating. We ended up grabbing a spot after someone moved - but it was in June. So we would have much rather found a seat in the A/C if we knew about it! 😂

There are things that some Disney-goers don’t realize you actually cannot do at Magic Kingdom, and that’s where mistakes get made!
Here are a few things you actually cannot do when it comes to Magic Kingdom...
❌ Rope drop Adventureland, Frontierland or Liberty Square
If you want to get technical, I guess you can “rope drop” them when they drop the rope and let you in... but, with that being said, these lands specifically are NOT open during early entry. So if you’re planning on using your early entry access for Jungle Cruise - you’re going to have to make some adjustments!
❌ Rope Drop / stand in line for Tron or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
When it comes to riding these two, neither of them have standby queues. This means you can’t just walk up and get in line for them.
Tron requires a Virtual Queue or (soon to be) Lightning Lane Single Pass to ride while Tiana’s requires a Virtual Queue or (soon to be) Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection to ride.
❌ Use a Genie+ / Lighning Lane Multi Pass selection for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Tron
Neither of these rides are included in the now Genie+ / soon to be Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections.
I mentioned above the two ways to ride Tron, but this means that for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train you will either have to make a Lightning Lane Single Pass selection or just wait in the standby queue!
❌ Park or get an Uber drop-off in front of Magic Kingdom
Spoiler alert...
If you’re taking an Uber or planning to drive yourself at Magic Kingdom, you will actually park or get dropped off at the TTC. The Transportation and Ticket Center.
From there, you will then have to monorail or ferry boat over to the entrance. If you stay on Disney property and use one of their complimentary transportation buses, those will drop you off at the entrance.
