"Padyak", that is the local term of this public transportation that only exists around Langihan area.
This kind of transportation is one of the most interesting thing in Butuan City. It is a three-wheel bicycle (has body) to accommodate passengers of not more than two persons per travel.
After having a grocery, you can call a padyak driver to give you a ride for only Php10 . He then gonna send you to your destination. But also, keep in mind that they cannot travel around the city, just around Langihan area only.

The soon to be "People's Park of Butuan City,
Banza Church Ruins
Located at Brgy. Banza ,Butuan City Philippines
I am just happy to read/hear that the (Butuan City Tourism Office) were already had an ocular inspection on year 2020. This was related to the plan to the new bell tower rehabilitation for the Banza Church ruins.
They plan to rehabilitate it as soon as they can because of it's condition. The church is not in good shape anymore as you can see and it needs an immediate action.
As we know, this church has been here for more than 2 centuries. It was built on year 1625 but was burnt by the Morro pirates on year 1753. Also, this is the first Catholic stone church in Mindanao.
The plan they had will take action after the dike concretion is done.
Based on the Tourism Development Plan of the City Tourism office , they have planned to make it as "PEOPLE's PARK" after it's development.
And that is a good thing for everybody especially it is one of the "Historical site" in Butuan City, Mindanao, Philippines.

The public square during Spanish period but later on called as "Guingona Park" to commemorate our late Rep. Congressman Marcos Calo who filed that bill to convert Butuan into a city on 1950's.
Butuan was just a small town of Agusan del Norte of CARAGA Region before 1950's, that was the year of it's flourishing perion because of the logging industry.
Butuan, is one of the highly urbanized city of CARAGA since 1995 up to this time.
