Did you know that cherrycreekcottages is dog-friendly? Small to medium sized dogs (up to 2) are welcome! Both the cottage and Silver Streak Sally have a small yard for your dog and (provided that the forest is open) Young has some great places to take your leashed pooch for a walk!

Please remember that if you do bring your dogs, they must be accompanied at all times!

Great guests from this weekend- thanks for coming!

“This place is a gem. Beautiful open sky- 2 creeks running on the side. We saw deer, cows, blue jays, squirrels literally 50 feet from the cottage. Large bedroom & living room windows to stargaze at night. We had a pleasant time. Lauren was one of the best Host we have had. We do monthly get aways. She was seriously AMAZING! Everyone in the town waves hello when they see you drive by. Such a beautiful community and peaceful! Thank you so much!”

Updated Vintage Cottage

If you are looking for peace and solitude, this is the perfect place to unplug. This country cottage, set in a quiet location on seasonal (mostly dry) Cherry Creek, is perfect for a couple. The surrounding mature oaks and sycamore trees attract a wide variety of birds. Elk, deer and javelina are commonly seen. Getting to Young can be an adventure; expect to navigate a winding, dirt mountain road through the forest.

We are pet friendly with a fenced front yard. •Your pet must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated, unprovoked barking. •Your pet should not be left unattended at any time. Should that become necessary, you must have and use a crate for your pet at all times while you are gone. •Please clean up outdoor defecations. "Poo bags" are in the bottom drawer under the microwave. Dispose of the waste in the trash can that is provided on the front porch. We provide clean pet blankets to cover furniture- please use them if you allow your pet on the furniture.
