You sometimes don't have to go very far to feel like you've traveled! This little long weekend getaway was taken in 2017, for my birthday with my bestie! It was my first time in Toronto and I absolutely loved it! The best sunset on the day of my birthday from the top of the CN tower and a great adventure at the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada..watch out for the sharks!

Land of the Vikings!
Unlike other regions colonized by the Vikings, Iceland had no indigenous population. In Iceland, there was no one to conquer and no churches or abbeys to sack for portable wealth. The people who settled the land came initially from Norway and were led by Norwegian aristocrats of considerable wealth who owned their own ships and could entice or command others to come with them.

My trip to Iceland in 2017 was one of the most memorable and invigorating trips! Enjoy a few of my pictures below :)
