This holiday season has felt different‼️ For me—and for many I’ve spoken to—it’s been a struggle to truly step into the holiday spirit. #TheWhiteHouse #christmas2024 #busymomplaydates After a year filled with heaviness, from financial challenges to societal shifts and elections, it feels like the weight of 2024 has taken its toll on the magic of the season. To be honest, I’ve been trying to find my spark. In our Facebook community, we've been talking about how women are getting into the holiday spirit, and the responses reminded me of the power of small, intentional joys: ✨ Visiting Christmas lights and decor ✨ Watching favorite holiday movies ✨ Exploring local Christmas markets ✨ Embracing cherished traditions This weekend, my family and I took a quick trip to the White House to see the holiday decor. It was bittersweet—beautiful and inspiring. So now, I’m slowly peeling myself away from the heaviness and leaning into moments that remind me of the beauty of the season. What is the SHADES OF PINK BRUNCH? (storytime) It's where our journey as a community began ! @topfans Three years ago, in the midst of the pandemic, we came together for the first time, stepping out of our homes and into a new sense of connection and sisterhood. That first brunch was a beacon of hope, during a really challenging time globally. The beginning of something so well needed. Since then, we’ve grown, laughed, and supported one another through our Brunches and and our Global Experiences‼ This year, we’re excited to announce the Expansion of our Signature Shades of Pink Brunch to NYC! We will still be hosting our brunch in the DMV area! But we’re doing something a little different this year. While I’ve had the privilege of hosting these brunches in the past, this time, I’m passing the torch to some dynamic women Stephanie Simpson and Andria Oliver who will lead the charge in the DMV, allowing me to focus on growing our community and touching new cities! DMV Tribe, I still need you to show up and show OUT! 😍 Our vision for Busy Mom Playdates is to reach and empower women around the world! We’ve had incredible travel experiences with women joining us from around the globe ...from South Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond, and now, we’re excited to bring that same energy of connection to our brunches!
