THIS VIEW is calling you..from the front porch (or the hot tub on the deck) of an adorable cabin in Seydisfjordur, Iceland.

It's easy to see why this place is called the Honeymoon Cottage 😍

Watch cruise ships come into port, explore the town or just relax here and soak in the refreshing, peaceful quiet after a long day of hiking.

If the "Ice" in Iceland scares you, don't let it. It was often in the 60s during our August trip. And rain or shine, wind or snow, warm or cold, Iceland is an absolute gem with unmatched scenery not to be missed 😮✨

If a trip to the Netherlands is in your future, get Kasteel TerWorm on your radar. This place is straight out of fairytale - grand yet cozy, close to everything yet quiet, & very cute (omg the bar area!)

Perfect to pair with day trips to explore Maastricht, Valkenburg (Xmas markets in the caves) or tour Kasteel De Haar (largest castle in the country).

Prepare for cuteness overload 😍
As travel slowly gets back into full swing, there are endless places to explore both near and far.

A recent favorite of ours would be the Owl in the Oak Treehouse in Duluth, Georgia. The perfect size for two! This cute, cozy getaway includes a small kitchen, bathroom (and shower), and bedroom loft. Simply follow the lit path from the street to this tucked away forest retreat atop a winding staircase and covered in fairy lights.

Worried about the Georgia heat? There were plenty of fans to keep us cool and comfortable. Best. Place. To. Sleep.

Alright, who has cabin fever?!
If a visit to the Tetons is on your radar, make sure to check out Teton Valley Resort in Victor, ID.

Don't let the fact that this is technically a "campground" fool you. Yes, you can bring your RV, OR you can choose from a number of adorable little cabins (we LOVED the vaulted ceilings, the fireplace and the pallet wall in ours) or even spend the night in a Tipi! Did I mention there is also an on-site spa?!

If that isn't enough to catch your attention, consider the drive from Grand Teton National Park, which includes a 10% grade drive and jaw-dropping views. All this for about $125 a night is an absolute steal. Think of all the 🍷 you can sip on your front porch after a day if exploring! 😍❤️

Looking for a little extra flair for Sunday brunch? A sorbet mimosa just might do the trick.. especially if you pair it with one of these colossal mouth-watering cinnamon rolls.

For a sugar overload that is totally worth it, head on over to Good Day Cafe in Golden Valley MN. And in case that's not your style, they have a full menu (lunch / dinner too!) of other options.

Every single excursion is an opportunity to have an amazing adventure if you know where to look.

We were recently in Watertown, SD for a wedding and booked a stay at Silverstar Barn. This place is an absolute gem. Decor spot on from top to bottom. Full kitchen for convenience, fireplace for cozy nights and my personal favorite - a suspended bed! What a fun twist to make this place even more unique. Add a bunch of pillows, fuzzy blankets and Netflix and YES, you have found a snuggle spot you will NOT want to leave.

Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a change of scenery as you work from home, this place has got you covered.

Enter Sultan Ceramics in Avanos, Turkey

Possibly the coolest store I've ever been to, with an opportunity to learn how this intricate pottery is made and maybe even try it for yourself. Imagine a whole store this gorgeous 😍😍

I was absolutely obsessed with their clocks!!

Starting to plan out your summer?!
If you're headed through Rapid City, SD, we highly recommend an evening at the Fort Hays Chuckwagon Dinner Show.

There is a fun old western town to explore prior to the show, delicious food (including pie!) and a great live music show. The violinist, especially, is incredible!

Event is family friendly as well!

Dobrý den! (Hello in Czech)
A European adventure is not complete without seeing the architecture in Prague 😍

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Praha which overlooks the Old Town Square. This is a prime location for exploring all this GORGEOUS town (home of my Bohemian roots! ☺️) has to offer.

This is a place where you can easily get lost in the endless amounts of medieval architecture, local shops, restaurants and street food. It's simply an AMAZING place!

Looking for a place where the food is amazing, the decor is so charming that even the bathroom is cute, and everyone feels like family?!

The River Inn in Hanover, Minnesota has all that and more!

This place has managed to get even MORE enchanting during COVID - adding more bonfires to snuggle by on the wintry nights and heated tents and "bubbles" to eat in.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here - but the sweet potato fries are out of this world and don't forget to order yourself up their signature off-the-menu drink. An absolute fan favorite of all the regulars here, it's essentially a Long Island with topshelf liquor and Vodka instead of Tequila. We know it as the "Big Bad John." Beware, it's addicting! As is everything at "The Riv".

Go once and we guarantee you will stay long and absolutely be back!

In our opinion, the key to a perfect getaway is a balance between epic adventure and blissful relaxation.

Enter NIDIM CASUAL LUXURY HOTEL. This gem in Tirol, Austria is nothing short of a slice of Heaven.

Imagine these mountain views from your room and the indoor/outdoor infinity pool. 😍 How about an outdoor sauna accessible by suspension bridge?! A rooftop spa. Absolute 5-star service and food, live music at night..

Bottom line: We cannot recommend this place enough!! In the middle of a bustling European vacation, take a few days here to unwind and experience the NIDIM magic. WE. WILL. BE. BACK.

Need a relaxing weekend away?! Look no further than the Aurora Staples Inn in the adorable little river town of Stillwater, MN!

With a delicious breakfast delivered to your door every morning and a location just a few minutes away from main street local shops, amazing restaurants, and a spa, this place cannot be beat! We stayed in the separate carriage house next door - complete with fireplace and a large whirlpool bath tub to relax after a day of exploring.

Happy (belated) New Year! What better way to kick it off "blog-style" than with highlighting one of my favorite resorts in the US!

Hyatt Regency Grand Cyprus in Orlando Florida has it ALL. Two major highlights are its own lake (bring on the paddleboarding!), and an absolutely amazing pool with a dozen waterfalls (and yes, even a swim-through cave!)

Even better, this blissful retreat is actually only 5-10 miles from all your favorite Disney theme parks and attractions. So what are you waiting for? A vacation is calling you!

Broadmoor Seven Falls in Colorado Springs is worth the climb!

It's on National Geographic's list of international waterfalls and is a series of seven cascading waterfalls that can be accessed either by elevator or up about 225 stairs (beware of slipping in cooler weather).

Date Night Bonus? 😍🥂 It's beautifully lit up at night and there is a fine-dining restaurant at the bottom of it. Come a little before dark if you also want to check out the surrounding trails.
