It is with great sadness that one of our member Ideal Rentals ( Rental Pictures attched )went to do the Rental Passing at LTA Nausori and was told at counter that they will not pass the vehicle as it has completed 3 years of age, Member did not receive any Notice from LTA or any calls, LTA can you clarify what is all this???

1.PSV Buses are on our roads from ages, will you also Freeze there renewal??

2.Taxis also running from ages will you freeze there renewal??

3.We Rental Operators get only 3 to 4 years repayment term from Finanacial Institutions, LTA expects us to change Rentals every 3 years and keep on doing payment life time.

If LTA and Minister for transport still wishes to enforce this Law then we Rental Operators will be left with no choice but to surrender our Rental Permits, Close the Business and operate Private Rentals without Paying Taxes and fees.

Hope Minister for Transport could look into this matter.
