1. Matuto tayong magsaliksik tungkol sa ating pupuntahan (difficulty, trail class, hours/days required, water source, weather forecast) Hanggang ngayon gamit na gamit namin yung blog ni Sir Gideon Lasco (www.pinoymountaineer.com) tuwing bago umakyat. Wag basta sugod, Bes. Research research din muna.
Take note that they will never change the destination because you can't join, ikaw ang mag-aadjust. Remember, Hiking should be a pleasurable experience for you.
Magdala ng personal first aid kit at medicine box mo.
4. Maghanda: Mag ehersisyo, tumakbo, maglakad lakad at least 1-2 weeks before climb for minor climb, tune up climb kapag major hike.
5. Pack light. Just bring all neccessary items.
1. Learn to assess your participants (Experience, Endurance, Medical condition, etc.)
2. When hiking in large groups, divide your group to at least 8-10 members per group with one experienced team leader that can sweep (if required ang guide) or assign an experienced participant to sweep (if no guide required) with at least 30 mins interval to minimize environmental impact.
3. Focus on safety and experience not on sales. Mas babalik balikan ka if pleasurable ang experience nila lalo sa mga first timer.
4. Keep your group informed (What to do, what to wear, what to expect, what to bring, etc.) at least 3 days before climb.
NOTE:
Andyan lang yung bundok para akyatin, eventually maakyat mo din yan in time, wag magmadali, unless ipapasara yung bundok na gusto nating maakyat, kaya kung gusto mo pang maraming bundok na maakyat, please obrserve strict LNT principle. Enjoy. Climb safe. Explore.
