Costa Rica Ocean Kayaking strives to create a safe, fun and healthy environment for families and avid kayak enthusiast alike. I run a private outfitter that specializes in paddle tours on the pacific coast of Costa Rica. From Playa Herradura and Playa Agujas we will paddle the coastlines looking for all of the sea creatures and beautiful nature Costa Rica has to offer. We often see sea turtles, do

lphins, spotted eagle rays, manta rays and so much more. I am an avid fisherman and realized that I receive just as much thrill from seeing a large school of mantas jumping out of the water as I do reeling in a 20lb Jack. The excitement of looking down and seeing a vast, clear yet turquoise green abyss below me gives me the humbling but centering experience that I search for. Join me on my professional grade sea bearing kayaks to enjoy what Costa Rica has to offer off of the main lands. "Pura Vida"

The fishing is guaranteed, catching is up to angler!!! ;) Rooster fish, Cubera Snapper, Spanish mackerel and grouper are among the many species that are commonly found around rock points and beaches where we will be paddling.(Med to heavy rod on a 4000 or 5000 reel with Yo zuris, X raps and jigs are my preferred ammo) Snook show occasionally around here too. When sardines are in near the beach we can use live bait and increase our chances of hooking up with a big jack or big snapper.
