It is August at The Island and Mother Earth has much to say. The flora and fauna of late include peonies, lupine, day-lillies, wormwood, choke cherries, polinators, muskrats, doe and fawn, and a mother grizzly bear with two cubs. We are located in Red Lodge, Montana in the gates of the Beartooth Mountains. The rocks that formed this mountain range are precambrian and are known to be the oldest rocks on earth! Hard to believe these mountians were once islandsπ€. No wonder we feel so at homeποΏΌ. Or perhaps itβs the friendly locals and private jacuzzi tub right on the creek?π€·πΌββοΈ
