We have a new book we would like to introduce you to on World Book Day!

2025 is the 50th anniversary of the Wye Valley Walk and the Wye Valley Walk Partnership are marking this golden anniversary with the publication of a new ‘Source-to-Sea’ official guide book, published by Cicerone. Ruth Waycott, Wye Valley National Landscape Information Officer, researched and wrote the book on behalf of the Partnership

We will be launching the book in partnership with Rossiters book shop on Wednesday 2nd April at 7pm at St Mary’s Church in Ross-on-Wye, when Ruth will be giving an illustrated talk about the Wye Valley Walk and sharing some of her ‘Wye-lights’ to look out for along the way.

Tickets available here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/rossiterbooks/t-dvzjpmk

You can also order a copy from Cicerone here: https://www.cicerone.co.uk/the-wye-valley-walk

This 138 mile, classic long distance route attracts walkers from across the UK and round the world. We will be celebrating during 2025 with guided walks and events along the Wye. Check the website for events as they are added throughout the year at: https://www.wyevalleywalk.org/

Getting ready for Chepstow Walking Festival which starts on Tuesday after many months of preparation, so excited!

Yes there will be mud and looking at 3 weather Apps , each one gives a different forecast.
It can’t be as bad as last year when everything was thrown at us and it hasn’t put those that attended last year off.
It’s time to reunite with friends and make new ones and have some fun.
Still time to book www.walksinchepstow
