The action Evocation and Attraction of Cultural Heritage – Christian Antiquity and Turkish Bath for Cultural Tourism promotes and strengthens good neighborly relations between Montenegro and Kosovo fostering European Union integration through joint scientific cooperation on themes common to both countries.

The archaeological/cultural heritage of these two major sites contributes to the socio-economic development of the border regions (Poljimlje Region in Montenegro and Kosovo Western Region) by valorizing the touristic potentials of Christian Antiquity in Berane Municipality and Turkish Bath in Peja Municipality since it aims to bring results and outputs of joint archaeological and scientific research to the tourism market and prepare the cultural sites for tourism. The action fosters socially inclusive economic development through enhancing local tourism offers and merging it. It is also built on the premise that the common cultural and natural heritage of the area is both a common ground for building cross-border human contacts and cooperation, as well as joint economic potential in a sense of tourism development.

Tahir Beu Inn represents the most beautiful type of houses in Peja.
This house is a cultural monument built by Albanian masters in 1800.
This ancient house has its architectural composition, spatial structure and functional overlap with the compositional features of many medieval houses in Peja.
This type of building is characterized by wooden roof crowns, wooden fordable windows and upper wooden balcony known as "divanhane"

Check out the archaeological discoveries from Donja Rzanica, just 5 km east of Berane!
Researchers found objects and fortresses with two sets of walls covering an area of 1.5 hectares. This evidence suggests that humans lived in the area continuously from the Copper and Bronze Age through the Middle Ages.
