Hi everyone! I think it's time for an official introduction. My name is Claire and I'm the founder of Always Elsewhere Travel. I'm so excited you're here!

Here's a little bit about me:
📍I live in the Raleigh, NC area with my husband and daughter. But have also lived in Los Angeles (LAX), Providence (PVD), Orlando (MCO) and Tallahassee (TLH).

🎓 I'm a graduate of UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Go Knights!
🏨 I have worked for iconic hotel brands - The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Loews Hotels. Boutique, luxury and lifestyle properties are my absolute favorite.
👩‍💻 I’m a Type A planner and may have a slight addiction to new office supplies.

📚🍦During my travels, I’m always on the hunt to find and support a local bookstore and am constantly stopping to grab a scoop of ice cream.

Using my industry knowledge, experience in hotel sales and event management, and with the power of Fora's network behind me, I'm perfectly positioned to help bring your travel dreams to life.

Cheers to a successful 2024! ✨

While my socials have been extremely quiet, I was still booking away behind the scenes and am so proud of what I accomplished this last year - despite a move across states, pregnancy and maternity leave.

Sending a huge thank you to everyone that has trusted me with your travel so far. This "side hustle" is slowly becoming what I am hopeful it can be - and I'm looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store for Always Elsewhere Travel and all of the dreamy destinations I can take you.

The wild, wild West! 🐎

While everyone's following the travel craze of visiting the new filming location for White Lotus (it's Thailand, btw) - we're all googly-eyed for these special destinations in our own backyard.

Dude ranches are great for ->
-solo travelers, couples, groups or multi-gen families
-adventure seekers or those looking for a beautiful setting
-any season travel

But not the best for ->
-small children - activities have minimum age requirements
-budget travelers - since most ranches are inclusive of all activities (and sometimes food/beverage) and pricing reflects that
-short trips - most require a 4+ night minimum length of stay

🏝️ Another trip review is here!

It was an absolute pleasure coordinating a milestone birthday celebration in Mexico for Arianne S. and her sweet family. We found the perfect toddler-friendly and all-inclusive resort in Hotel Xcaret México for their time in the Riviera Maya. And we can't forget to mention the best part - their swim up guestroom!
