Our first Cape Buffalo for the season and a fine, old “Dugga Boy” at that. This was also Victor’s first Buffalo hunt in South Africa and we hunted this bull at 30 yards as he came to investigate us which made for a really intense moment.

A more memorable recovery on this huge-bodied Kudu bull that Alexi hunted with us. This bull took off after a perfect shot and expired in a dry gully which meant the only way out was with man power and man did we sweat! Just have a look at the size of his neck! Regardless though, the hunts in which you sweat the most are normally the most memorable ones.
