🤔 A winter holiday isn't all about getting cosy in front of the fire with a take away and a good movie.
🌞 We visit Silloth every November and January, and are very often treated to sunny, clear skies and stunning beach walks.
🥳 Another positive, is the town is quiet and the beach is completely empty most of the time.
🍻 The pubs and cafes are still open and trips to the lakes are easy with less people out and about.
👍 So don't think a winter stay isn't a fun time to get away, because you can get out and about and then return to the cottage, pop the fire on, make a brew and relax in the cosy cottage.

⛳️ Visit Silloth Golf Club during your stay and enjoy a round of golf on this outstanding course.
Start at hole one outside the clubhouse and work your way along the coast, taking in the stunning sea views over to Scotland.
Then make your way back all the way to the 18th hole.

🤔Why do our guests love Silloth so much?
Most of our guests begin their Seabreeze Journey with no knowledge of Silloth.
But what is it that makes them return again and again?
This traditional Seaside town is a hidden gem and those who visit can't wait to return because it is the perfect base for a fun and relaxing holiday.
The town is filled with small shops and fun attractions. From a magical tearoom (The Fairydust Emporium Silloth) to an amusement arcade (Silloth Amusement Arcade) that will return you to years gone by and fond memories.
Add to this, the views from the sea front or the quiet sandy beach, the perfect location and the friendly locals, and it isn't difficult to understand why Silloth is so popular.
It’s great for all ages, from the smallest ones with play parks and the splashpad, the fairy trail and the train ride around the green, to the older ones with benches overlooking the sea, and the endless promenade for sunset walks.
Silloth couldn’t be better positioned for getting out and about too, with the Lakes only a drive away and Scotland within reach too. Head over to Carlisle for shopping or the coast for an adventure.

🐙 Just a 20 minute drive along the coast brings you to Maryport..
🦐 Visit the Lake District Coast Aquarium, Maryport where you can search for Nemo and Dory and lots of other sea creatures.
🦀 Pick up a fun pack from the reception desk and go off on your quest to tick off everyone you can find.
🐟 There's a shop too for those all important souvenirs of your stay, or maybe pick up a puzzle for family fun once you get home.
⛳️ With every entrance ticket, you get a free round of crazy golf, so head out back and challenge everyone to a game.
😍 There's also a play park for the little ones whilst you take a moment to relax.
🍰 Then head to the Harboursde Café, Lake District Coast Aquarium, Maryport next door for tea and cake before heading home to relax.

🥰 Summer may be over but it's not all sad...
Why not book a winter stay at Seabreeze Cottage and look forward to days on the beach, exploring and taking in the fresh sea air.
