Bibic Winery 🍷- Croatians are VERY proud of their wine making. Some of these wines rival what is coming out of more popular wine producing countries in Europe. Bibich winery is a family-owned boutique winery producing world-renowned wines. This winery was praised by Anthony Bordain as Croatia’s best kept secret. Since Bordain’s secret got out this place is one of the most sought after reservations in Croatia. And guess what, we are going!
Our day begins with breakfast at Villa Galla. We then board our private transfer and head to Krka National Park 🏞️. This park is situated along the Krka River and is most well known for a series of 7 waterfalls. Even though you are going to a national park there is no hiking on this day. I know this sounds strange but you want comfortable walking shoes NOT hiking boots. Think photo op in beautiful places, not rigorous trail hiking. Despite the fact that many of the pictures of Krka show people swimming in the pools, that is no longer allowed so no bathing suit required on this day. The park is a series of steps, wooden docks and wooden bridges. After wandering on the wooden docks and bridges, we board a boat to explore the rest of the Krka River Canyon.
In about a month we set off to Croatia on a adventure centered around the culinary and the wine making traditions of the Adriatic. This winery has been family owned and productive for over 500 years…

They are our go to beach chair in part because of their built in cooler, backpack straps and zipped pouch.
