Today’s lunch: pork KATSU at Unno in Shizuoka. It costs only 1,620 JPY (10.38 USD)! Surprisingly cheap. The meat is really tender, fresh, and crispy! So delicious.

This doll museum along the south side of lake Kawaguchi is very heartwarming and healing our hearts. I rarely go to look at dolls but the fools in the museum has differing charms from others. They attract us in a nostalgic and some kind of sad way, which are not found nor felt in other places.
I truly recommend to visit the museum.

At last Shimizu port has started opening its gate to the world!
This year, those who have been waiting for coming to Japan will be spreading all over the country.

I accompanied a photographer to shoot wonderful photos of Mt. Fuji for four days.

I’m stunned at his energy and passion for his artistic features. I’m looking forward to seeing his exhibitions of Japan premiere in Tokyo.

I guided in Fujinomiya area where Mt. Fuji can be observed fully, Sengen Taisha and Shiraito Water Falls.
We are. in the new year’s holiday season here in Japan, so these areas were also very crowded but the weather was perfect! Almost no clouds, nor windy and temperature was about 12 to 13 degrees centigrade.
My guests fully appreciated the tour.

We celebrate our health, wellbeing and prosperity waiting for the diety of the year of 2023.

Recently I guided Lake Kawaguchi, but unfortunately it rained.
So I changed the course to Oshino Hakkai (Eight ponds made up of by spring water thorough Mt. Fuji) and Ichiki Kubota kimono museum. Both of them are worth visiting, especially Kubota museum was more than my expectation.

Since Japanese government announced opening the boundary to foreign individual visitors, I have received several inquiries about booking tours every week.
Shimizu port also seems to welcome the foreign cruise ships in the next year. So, in spring in 2023, lots of guests will occupy our city.

Since Japan reopened its boarder to individual travelers in October, I have received 4 bookings and 3 inquiries.
I really believe in the potential of tourism in Japan and hospitality towards every guest to Japan.
I will be happy to guide here in Shizuoka and other neighboring spots such as Hakone, Mt. Fuji area, Kamakura and Tokyo.
