Voting time! We had a guest (a while back) accidentally drop one of the tiles from our table top pot holders. Our wonderful friends at Trader Bears found 4 tiles for us! Which tiles would you like us to feature first? The flowers or nakey fellows?

Our newest edition to Heleena. We saw this boomerang Formica table and could not pass up on it! Heleena is our grand ole Dame and we love gifting her and our guests with new (old) touches. A couple more surprises are on the horizon!

Heleena received a little upgrade this week. A new AC unit to keep all her guests comfortable this summer.
We have been busy!! Heleena has been loving her guests and they have definitely been loving her back.
We are always looking for “new” items for Heleena and we found this vintage hamper ❤️. Everything gets a good scrubbing before added to the decor. This is the initial scrub and it definitely needed it! Next round is with a tooth brush to get all the small areas. Always striving to make it as much of an experience as possible for guests to feel like they walked back in time.
We’ve been hopping over here at Heleena! Some of the best guests a person can have. I love finding notes to us. Our biggest compliment is that they love walking back in time and love our Heleena like we do.

Bookings are coming in, so don't miss your opportunity to stay at Heleena and book soon! We have now been open for over a year and have absolutely had some of the best guests ever. One of our guests have stay 3 times this past year and that makes my heart so happy! Heleena's uncle Project Cornelius is going to be getting in shape soon too! Imagine, walking back into the 1920's country house surrounded by nature. Our goal is November to be finished with him. He will only be available to sleep 2 as he is nice and cozy. Keep an eye out for updates as we move forward!

New addition to the game room!! We’ve had it for a while but needed to work on it. It was scratched and the door needed fixing.
We seriously have the best guests! Last weekend we had a repeat guest who stayed for the 3rd time! And brought us gifts!!! We want to support other small businesses, so I had asked them to bring some business cards and they brought so much amazing things. On top of that, 4 records of local bands (to them, but that’s great!)

Can’t help but love notes from guests! And this one was absolutely special. We found out after they checked in, that we live in her grandparent’s home!! So happy to have connected with them!

We are constantly changing things up around here. A couple finds we have found lately add that extra layer for Heleena’s vibe. The radio was at the Rockbridge flea market antique shop, we love to shop local! The license plate and glass bowl were found in the barn when we cleaned them out. We also received a few items from my close friends Tad Calendine and Matt Hardesty who have the most adorable store called Route 60 Vintiques & Gift Boutique (a must stop when in Beverly, Ohio). Those items will be on display soon.
