Cruise Edition!
I learn something new every cruise. This cruise I learned about Port Day Express Breakfast in the dining room. I can’t promise that’s going to be on every cruise as honestly it’s the first time I ever even noticed it lol
It’s a breakfast option with a separate menu than what you would get at the lido breakfast and it is designed to get you in and out in 25 minutes. We tried it out on our second port day where we couldn’t get off the ship until 10am. And I wish we had another day so I could try different menu items but we only had very early days 🌞

We usually don’t focus on character meetings but I was so glad we stopped to meet Peter Pan. He sounds like he just stepped out of the movie!
Since we didn’t intend to meet characters or get autographs, we used our treasure maps from the Pirate Adventure to have him sign. Good choice as he knows lots about pirates and treasure 🏴☠️
He’s quite the talker lol So much fun!

In 2016 there was a study done and published in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association about riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad…. What?
After several patients had reported they’d passed kidney stones after consecutively riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World, an official study was done that involved a 3D model of a kidney (carried in a backpack). Real kidney stones of various sizes and urine was placed in the model kidney. The different stone sizes were placed in different parts of the kidney. After many test rides what was learned was location of the stone didn’t matter, but location on the roller coaster did. Regardless of size or location of the stone, riding at the back of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad passed the kidney stone 64% of the time…
And that my friends, is the only explanation I need on why I ride towards the front 😂

I had no idea revolving sushi bars were even a thing until I saw it on this reel from a couple on the RC World cruise (are you following any of those, because you totally should be!).
So I did a search and there’s quite a few in the states and there happened to be one on our road trip route in Mall of America.
I don’t even like sushi but you can order plenty of hot items too. Sushi and some desserts are on the bar. You order drinks and other dishes on the screen at the table. A robot brings your drinks and your other hot dishes are delivered on the fast track. It’s so cool!!

We were in Magic Kingdom the day Country Bear Jamboree reopened after being refurbished. It is definitely different and modernized just a bit. Even though I did still love the original, I think it’s a good change and will hopefully bring new life to this show!
I haven’t seen it this packed since I was a kid.

Most people know that Walt Disney passed away at the beginning stages of Walt Disney World and his brother Roy put off retirement to complete his brother’s vision. So there really isn’t a whole lot in the Florida Project that Walt Disney himself worked on but according to our tour guide on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour this tree in Liberty Square was in fact picked out by Walt himself.

Every Disney resort on property has a campfire and each night they provide marshmallows for you to roast.
They do sell chocolate and graham crackers for you as well but you can definitely buy it all at the store for way cheaper so pack it or put it on your grocery delivery!

Have you been to Lambert’s Cafe? Home of the Throwed Rolls.
There’s probably always a wait but 45 minutes was well worth it. We had a blast.
I love that the cups are massive and even though it’s really easy to fill up on drink and rolls, try not to because the food is so good! Home cooked meals and so much fun!
Oh, and the rolls are hot!
