Don't get me wrong I love this time of year, the snuggles, anticipation of snow, hot chocolate and reading by the fireplace.

However, I always feel like this time of year can get a little underwhelming. The kids are inside more, I feel like they track in more dirt and someone is always sick! My time is spent mostly cleaning up or cancelling plans. I have learned that one of the best ways to get over this hump is to PLAN.
🗓️ Plan a vacation.
🗓️ Plan a party.
🗓️ Plan time with friends.
🗓️ Plan the ability to go and do something!

Some studies have shown that we function better in a state of mind that something fun/exciting is approaching. This gives us something FUN to work towards.

Every hotel, airline, cruise line, package deal does things differently. I try and make sure you have all the details including fees before you make your final decision.

However, sometimes fees will only be allowed to pay at check-out, or you must pay for the flights at booking. All of this is something I will tell you when doing the quotes (if possible) so you can be informed about how payments will be made.

Pure white sands, aquamarine waters and limestone cliffs await travelers who visit Thailand's southwestern island of Phuket. Surrounded by the Andaman Sea and about an hour by plane from Bangkok, this island is a little piece of paradise, which comes with a relatively low price tag for everything from its accommodations to spa treatments and boat tours. But along with its tropical appeal, Phuket beckons to travelers wanting to experience its flavorful cuisine (think: lemongrass, lime leaves, chillies) and its rich culture, heavily influenced by its reigning religion: Buddhism.

And although the island's beaches and tourism operators have bounced back from the 2004 tsunami, which hammered its western coast and tragically claimed thousands of lives, it remembers the past with memorials and a better warning system, should the area once again come under threat.

In the Winter:
❄️ Right after Christmas but before School starts back is a great time to plan for a MomCation! - You can leave the kids with the grandparents for an extra few days and sneak away.
❄️ January and February normally have some of the cheaper rates.
In the Spring:
🌷 Although spring break is a great time of year to take your family on a vacation, it is also a great time to see the blooms come alive. If you are wanting to see the tulips or cherry blossoms take advantage of the spring.
🌷 Mothers Day is also a great way to get a MomCaiton. Ask your family to allow you time this year to go on a moms only adventure.
Summer Time:
☀️ Okay again a great time to take your family somewhere, but it is also a great time to drop the kids off at camp, grandparents, or a cousins house. It is a WIN for everyone, Dad gets time to himself after work, Mom gets away to clear her head and the Kids get to be loved on by others and explore and learn on their own.
Autumn Time:
🍂 This is really the last opportunity before all of the holiday fun starts up. Try to take a long weekend trip the end of September or beginning of October.

NYC in April of 2022 was such a fun adventure! My Sister-In-Love and I set aside time to take my Mom to New York for her 60th Birthday. We had so much fun, it was definitely a girls trip to remember!

A few of the things we did:

🗽 Shopped at Chelseas Market and Hudson Yards
🗽 Carriage Ride through Central Park
🗽 Ate and Shopped in Little Italy and Chinatown
🗽 Took a boat around the Statue of Liberty and under the Brooklyn Bridge
🗽 Shopped and walked around the Rockefeller Center area
🗽 Did the Summit ONE Vanderbilt experience
🗽 Ate at The Stardust Dinner (a few times)
