This house is located in Indian Wells, California in Palms Springs. The address is 45805 Via Corona. It is listed in VRBO, as a rental. Don't be fooled by pictures and the 2 reviews. This place was book from 3/1-3/7. Upon checking in, the home was full of trash, beds slept in from previous renters, kitchen in previous cooking mess, bathroom full of trash and used towels. The back yard had broken beer bottle glass from large, small to tiny pieces all over the patio. Here is the punch line: Raw SEWAGE leaking and seeping between the wall and the patio tile. The homeowner's Bandaid remedy, a small hole about the size of a golf ball was drill into the tile floor to catch the sewage and black water. The toilet in the master bath where the leakage is in between the inner wall and outside wall, takes up to 3 or 5 flush to empty the toilet. Upon realizing how bad and disqusting the whole situation was, we promptly left. As the smell was becoming intolerable. We call the owners and asked for refund and reported to VRBO once we checked into a hotel. VRBO has not been helpful in any shape or form. VRBO said, we should have stayed and workout a solution....REALLY, with RAW SEWAGE just right outside the master bedroom?? The homeowners said, there are 2 more working bathrooms and we will get Roto-Rooter out in the morning; we have yet to see a refund. The house is still listed on VRBO, even though we have sent pictures and videos to VRBO to document the case. This page is created to help future VRBO users to beware that, VRBO from the reviews we have read since, are not encouraging. There are all kinds of cases like ours from renters to homeowner not getting the proper support. Please share this information with as many people as possible. We will also report this house to Riverside County. Because if the drain is over flowing onto the patio near the pool. It means the foundation of the house is full of sewage with no where else to drain, except right into out door living space.
