Had the opportunity yesterday to stay at the Cottage with some special friends.
For me , I didn’t enjoy the chicken kebabs……….but ,the views still stunning as always, even in February

After a really busy year at the Cottage and now The Stable Barn is ready , my attention turns to welcome packs and costs.
I’m not one for waste and also loves quality products.
So getting the balance of the two is very challenging.
Also trying to be eco friendly
In this world is also very hard .😂😂
So just for your info:
Eggs whenever possible come from the farm around the corner in my village. Gina’s eggs !!
Cake normally comes from Henstead arts and craft Center, when I didn’t bake in time .
Butter just cut into slabs as not everyone likes real butter.
Normal tea,coffee sugar is purchased in bulk then decanted into glass pots now.
Special teas and coffee pods now bought when offers are on and also, displayed in smaller quantities.
Bubbles smaller bottles .
Subscription to ‘who gives a crap’
Faith in nature hand soap bought in Bungay . So I can now refill myself.
Welcome packs I try to do my best for guest to enjoy.!!

So after planning ,we are now able to take bookings !!!! .
Stable Barn is for two people, and no pets …….
Stunning views, rural location , only a mile away from St Peter’s Brewery .
Colin and I look forward to welcoming you to Ilketshall St Margaret, bang in the middle of the Suffolk, Norfolk border, best of both worlds.
Professional photographer is coming tomorrow and will be added to cottages.com website asap .

Working like crazy today to finish the Cottage, as just taken a last minute booking for tomorrow!!!
Very busy year ahead, not complaining, just grateful and looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality.
