Another shot at Tirta Gangga Water Palace✨😍

Built in 1948 by the last king of Karangasem named Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, this water palace is constructed with a unique mix Balinese and Chinese architectural style. The statues and carvings are inspired by Hindu historical epics like Mahabharata or Ramayana. Tirta Gangga is located in Abang, Karangasem in the east of Bali with 1.2 hectares which consists of garden, ponds, and sculpture. The beauty of this water palace is undeniable, although it was once destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963. Then, the government of Karangasem rebuilt this park and intended for tourist areas. From the word Tirta as blessed water in Balinese, and Gangga is the name of a holy river in India, this place is symbolized to have uncountable blessing.

Tirta Gangga has a lot to offer. The first time you enter the water palace, you will see a pond welcoming you. Also, a tower temple on your right side and the fish in the pond will freshen you from the city hustle and bustle. Aside from the instagrammable fish pond, there are natural spring and swimming pool in Tirta Gangga. The natural spring contains fresh water and considered as holy water. The water also used for the religious ceremony in the temples inside the palace. If you want to wander around and explore for a bit longer enjoying its enormous beauty, you don’t need to worry because there are restaurants and villas around. Happy wandering 🤩🙌

Savanna Tianyar, Karangasem, an exquisite destination with picturesque scene.

East Bali has many tourist destinations with delightful landscapes and wonderful views, along with its mesmeric charm that stays in your memory. This grassland with exotic nuance is situated against the backdrop of Mount Agung, presenting a panorama looking like savanna in Africa. This village offers natural beauty which spreads out as far as your eyes can see. Not only indulge in the nature where you stand on the meadow, you will also see number of horses.

You will see different enchanting atmosphere of savanna depending on the season. When dry season arrives, the meadow will present the stretch of yellow and brownish grass. Then when it turns to rainy season, you will witness a panoramic view with beautiful wide green grass.

Catching a glimpse of rarified beauty that Bali’s nature has to offer

Located in the south of Lovina and 4 hours north from Denpasar, Sekumpul is among Bali’s most amazing and isolated falls. Sekumpul is actually made up of multiple waterfalls, so the name sekumpul means “collection” or “group.” From the famous Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, it takes roughly forty minutes to get there.

The best attractions of this area are quiet walks in natural surroundings, the pleasant weather, the pervasive sounds of nature, strolling around to observe the daily life of the villagers.

Finding peace in nature 🍃 have you been to Jatiluwih? 😍

Bali is one of the few places on earth made visually stunning by its main economic activity. In no other locale of the island does this hold truer than in the Tabanan District of west Bali where the cascading rice terraces of Jatiluwih are the most striking feature of the agricultural landscape, claiming even slopes that look too formidable to be of any possible use.

The achingly picturesque area of Jatiluwih actually comprises not only rice fields but also forests, lakes, springs, temples and a huge natural mountain reserve scattered over a wide area around the slopes Mount Batukaru, a sacred landscape whose boundaries are defined by a cluster of temples supported by traditional villages and farmlands administered by age-old subak organizations, the local water boards.

Jatiluwih’s rice fields are irrigated by water that is sometimes channelled by tunnels through solid rock hillsides. Water needs high on the ridges often require tunnels two or three kilometers long. This complex irrigation system, continuously maintained, groomed, and plowed, has been developed over many centuries. The historical manuscript, the Bebetin, records that Balinese farmers have used the Subak system since at least 1071.

When the warmth of sunray softly touch your skin ☀️ are you ready to travel to the Island of Peace?

Tukad Cepung Waterfall, unlike any other waterfalls in Bali, this place is well-guarded by the cliffs where you can see waterfall from a cave-like. It is well-hidden between rocks and took 15 minutes to get down to find the hidden gem. You will be mesmerized by this heavenly place, feel the sense of peace and serene. Then the sunray from the open sky multiplies its magnificent view ✨

Bali’s charm could drive you to so many beautiful places to explore 💙

The majestic Ulun Danu Temple stands on the Lake Beratan, set within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugul in Bali. In approximate 1,500 meters above sea level, in the mild mountain weather, the air is fresh and cool. The mesmerizing clear lake is calm and almost perfectly still along with the sunrise appear with its ray of light.

The existence of Ulun Danu Temple was recorded early in 1556. In 1633, it was rebuilt by the King of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu, with a mixture of Hindu and Buddhist architectural styles. Ulun Danu Temple was built to adore the Goddess Danu. Danu, in Balinese means lake, while the goddess Danu is queen of water, lakes and rivers.

Lake Beratan is the second largest lake in Bali until the earthquake happened and divided the lake into three: Beratan, Buyan, and Tamblingan.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall, one of a hidden Bali gem when you’re exploring to the deep in the jungles of Gianyar, a waterfall with insta-famous rock where you can soak into its water

The Kanto Lampo Waterfall was created after the Kanto Lampo river was hit by an avalanche. The water flows over the rocky cliffs where you can pose for a photo and immerse in the freshness of water touching your skin. It could be the best day to escape from reality while listening to the nature speaks to you.

Located at Beng, Gianyar, only a half hour drive from Ubud and an hour from Seminyak and Canggu, it is an easy route to reach this gorgeous waterfall. Just follow the stairs all the way down which only takes about 5-10 minutes. Tell us your stories if you’ve been to Kanto Lampo Waterfall!

Traveling is just not about finding new places to explore, it’s also about diving in the harmony and warmth of local people ❤️ As in the philosophy, Tat Tvam Asi teaches us on how we treat others.

Tat Tvam Asi is most accessibly translated as I am you; you are me. This Sanskrit phrase embodies a commanding idea in a world besieged by the bind of the binary. It seems that every day, we face choices (practical, psychological, spiritual) between doing one thing or another, being one way or another, voting one way or…. There’s opposition in so many things—the light or the darkness, good or bad, freedom or shackling.

When it comes to feel and think deeply, about how much we humans are all alike, the resounding message comes and resonated with: I am what I am because of who we all are, which, to come back to where we started sounds a great deal like the beautiful: I am you; you are me.

Pupuan, realm of the big trees 🌴

Deep in the mountains of west Bali’s Tabanan Regency is the faraway district of Pupuan, a coffee, clove and rice growing region of towering trees and twisting mountain roads. This unspoiled area on the slopes of Mt. Batukaru has some of the most magnificent rice field scenery on the island, the bounty of its harvest renowned for its robust flavor. The area also supplies fruit, cacao, vanilla and herbs for the domestic and export markets. Exotic trees such as durian, mangosteen, rambutan, duku and white mango grace the countryside.

To reach the place of the big trees we first had to take the road of the big trucks two hours out of Denpasar west along the coastal highway to Antosari, then head directly north in the direction of Seririt. The district is also reachable by driving one hour south from Bali’s north coast.
