Hello all I hope the new year has been treating everyone well. It's been a hot minute since we have posted anything from the forgotten coast but we have been caught up admiring all these amazing views since the bad weather washed away the last year!

We have another semi last minute cancellation for next week 22nd - 24th Aug! (Still have 30th Aug - 2nd Sept) Come try out our super comfy, super king bed whilst sipping a cup of tea, looking out over the sound of Mull.

Hello hall cabin campers! This is just a friendly reminder that we are dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden for your pup (or cat) to run about in.
I hope the summer has been kind to you so far and you've gone on lots of fun adventures. If not and your looking for a quick wee getaway to the magical west coast we have a few days free at the end of the month if you move fast!

Happy summer solstice all you happy people 🌞 Although I feel we have been cheated this year of being able to enjoy these long days... However we still have a full summer ahead of us to enjoy these summer nights, delicious BBQs (see above) and relaxing days 😎

The summer is rolling in (believe it or not) and with it come the long days and bright nights! With only a tiny settlement down the road, you can get an uninterrupted view of the stars here at the Forgotten Coast!

Happy equinox everyone! (Although I'm a day late) Finally the days outlast the night which brings in the better weather and lifts the spirits for everyone who's been enduring the long winter nights. With these longer days there's no better place to experience them than here at the Forgotten Coast! The snowdrops are out! That means that spring is ready to bring the Highlands to life. And there is no better place to be than the west coast of Scotland to witness it. Fresh, colourful, bursting with wildlife but most importantly, no midgies!

Why does the news always make the snow out to be a disastrous event when it can make a place look as good as this!

Winter might not be for everyone in Scotland, it's dark and cold, but for a few days a year when the sun breaks through the clouds and the frost sets in it can take your breath away (and that's not just because of the cold). There's no best place to be that here at the forgotten coast!
