Day 4: Hike from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – around 6 hours
Leave Phakding for Namche Bazaar after a breakfast. On moving further, you’ll cross the Dudhkoshi River on our route through a suspension bridge. After then, the pathway leads its way up until you reach Jorsale. A climb leads to Namche from there, with two significant overlooks along the route. On a clear day, you can take in the mesmerizing vista of Everest. Furthermore, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale to obtain a permit entry. After a hard 5 to 6-hour hike, we’ll arrive in Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Rest in Namche Bazaar
Take the acclimatization day as an opportunity to rest and allow your body to recover from the previous days trek. Namche bazaar is known as the gateway to the Everest.
Day 6: Hike Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m) – around 5 hours
Following a lovely night in Namche, we continue our trek by making our way to Tengboche. We’ll be accustomed to high winds & difficult terrain by this point. As the trek advances, the trail
gradually gets steeper and narrower. In route to Tengboche, we’ll pass by many monasteries, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and rhododendron forests. You can explore one of Nepal’s oldest
monasteries once you get to Tengboche.
Day 7: Hike from Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m) – around 6 hours
We start our hike by walking through the rhododendron forest to Deboche. Then, we pass through a valley, cross several fields, and reach Pangboche town, the largest Sherpa community in the area. Our day’s hike will be challenging because it leads to exposed, arid hillsides as we advance toward Dingboche.
Day 8: Hike from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m) – around 6 hours
Because of the higher altitude, the walk will get steadily more complicated from here. We’ll pass by Dungla, but not before a strenuous ascent to a mountain’s summit. As we stroll along the
ridge, we cross a row of memorial landmarks created in honor of climbers and Sherpa’s who perished during the Everest Expedition. The further portion of our journey transports us to Lobuche across finished rugged mountain terrain. Lobuche is a tiny village with a majestic view of Lobuche, Pumori, and Nuptse mountains.
Day 9: Hike from Lobuche to Gorek Shep (5,181m) to Everest Base camp (5,364m) and back to GorekShep – around 8 hours
The walk today will last about eight hours. It will help if you take extra precautions from here since altitude sickness could become serious. The trail follows the route with an uphill hike across steep terrain next to the Khumbu Glacier from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp. We’ll have some time to snap photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will soon set out on a downhill journey to Gorakshep, where you will spend the night.
Day 10: Hike from Gorekshep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to Pheriche (4,280m) – around 6 hours
The journey from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar is another significant part of this trek. The route is technical and challenging and starts early in the morning. It is quite challenging to trek uphill on the route to Kalapathar. The beautiful path will allow us to observe the outstanding Himalayan sunrise from Kala Pathar. The beautiful viewpoint is known for its stunning view, where you can observe the glorious Himalayan sunrise. After exploring and observing the
Himalayan sunrise, we return to the Gorak Shep village. It takes around 45 minutes to return to Gorak Shep and descend to Pheriche.
Day 11: Hike from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – around 6 hours
It takes around 6 -8 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. We will be descending about 1000 meters which can be a relief after days of ascent but can also be tough on your knees.
Day 12: Hike from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m) – around 6 hours
This is the last day of our trek. The trail of the trek is the last chance to observe the Himalayas and the Himalayan terrain.
Day 13: Return Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap
