3 Myths about earning income via travel.

#1- I need to have a lot of clients, or I won’t be successful.

❌ WRONG, you do not need a lot of clients to become a successful Travel agent.

✅ Travel agents are able to earn income from their personal vacations. Every time they get on a plane, take a cruise, rent a car or stay at a hotel; they earn income. Therefore you can be your own client!

✅ Travel agents are also able to book travel for their friends and family. A handful of people who travel 1-2x a year can be very profitable for a travel agent.

#2- There are contracts and quotas associated with being a travel agent.

❌ WRONG, our host agency does not have any contracts or quotas.

✅ You can start, pause or stop being a travel agent at anytime without penalty. You will have the freedom to work your travel business as much or as little as you want.

#3- You have to be a great content creator and know how to optimize social media; in order to be a successful travel agent.

📍Caye Caulker, Belize | Tarpon feeding dock 🐟😅

💰Total cost: $2.50 USD

The tarpons at the feeding dock are HUGE!!!! The smaller fish (bait) was $2.50 for about 6-7 fish.

✨Tip: hold the tail of the small fish between two fingers. Then hover about 1 foot over the water and wait a few seconds.

📲 Record using slow motion or else you’ll miss the whole experience.

Repeat as much as you like ☺️

😒 watch out for the greedy pelican who kept trying to steel the bait.

Avoid arriving to your destination with depleted electronics. These items should be fully charged prior to departure 🔋

📍Reykjavik Iceland | Where we stayed 🛏️

A girls trip to Iceland is a GREAT IDEA 🇮🇸

✈️ Airline: Iceland Air (5 hrs. direct from NY)

Things to keep in mind when traveling to Iceland on Iceland Air, the weight limit is 23kg/50 pounds.

We stayed in Reykjavik which is about 1 hour from the airport. A private taxi was approx. $150 one way and the shared bus option was $70 round trip.

☀️ During January there was roughly 4-5 hours of daylight. The sun would rise at 11am and set by 3/4pm daily.

The aesthetics of this hotel had our attention from the moment we arrived.

📍Reykjavik Iceland | How we got there ✈️🌎

We made it out the group chat for the 98th time and went to Iceland 🇮🇸

📆 Dates: Jan. 10th-15th 2024

✈️ Airline: Iceland Air

🚌 Transportation: Reykjavik Excursions Fly Bus

🛏️ Hotel: The Edition Reykjavik

Our visit to Iceland was soooooo good! We already started discussing when we should go back. Things to keep in mind when traveling to Iceland on Iceland Air, the weight limit is 23kg/50 pounds. You can take a direct flight from JFK, New York to Iceland. The flight duration will be approx. 5 hours.

We stayed in Reykjavik which is about 1 hour from the airport. A private taxi was approx. $150 one way and the shared bus option was $70 round trip.

During January there was roughly 4-5 hours of daylight. The sun would rise at 11am and set by 3/4pm daily. Plan all activities accordingly, you literally do not have all day if you want to explore and do daytime activities.

📍Belize | Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club 🇧🇿

My stay was nothing short of special. This resort is ideal for anyone who is genuinely looking for beautiful views + peace and quiet.

I went during off peak season in October. It felt like I had the entire resort to myself with only a handful of guest onsite. The food was 10/10 and the drinks were crafted perfectly.
•
There were go-karts available for rent onsite. There was also a private beach located about 15 min from the resort. At the private beach you can order food and drinks and have all expenses charged to your room. All water sport activities on the beach are at no additional cost.

The smaller fish (bait) was $2.50 for about 6-7 fish. ✨Tip: hold the tail of the small fish between two fingers. 📍Reykjavik Iceland | Where we stayed 🛏️ A girls trip to Iceland is a GREAT IDEA 🇮🇸 📆 When: January 2024 ✈️ Airline: Iceland Air (5 hrs. direct from NY) 🚌 Airport Transfers: Reykjavik Excursions Fly Bus 🛏️ Hotel: The Edition Reykjavik Things to keep in mind when traveling to Iceland on Iceland Air, the weight limit is 23kg/50 pounds. We stayed in Reykjavik which is about 1 hour from the airport. A private taxi was approx. $150 one way and the shared bus option was $70 round trip. ☀️ During January there was roughly 4-5 hours of daylight. The sun would rise at 11am and set by 3/4pm daily.
