I took a trip down memory lane... on my camera roll. This was our 23rd anniversary in 2015. Due to a few family circumstances we didn’t travel far from home, especially together. So my sweet husband planned our anniversary getaway in the resort down the street from our home. And... he invited the kids to come to dinner because he knew how special that would be to me. We didn’t travel across the globe, only across the street. It was one of our most memorable anniversary vacations! Also this is a reminder that I need to lose some poundage and that life comes at you fast. @ Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa

I was a little taken aback at the end when Rob Perry almost made me cry. It had been over one year since all eight of us were under one roof. I don't know how long it will be until the next time, but I can only hope and pray that it's soon and that we make just as many amazing memories the next time.

This is just a peek into our family adventure in Park City over the New Year. I held back the tears on the video, but I haven't been able to watch it without crying quite yet.

Vacation memories are the best.. we are so thankful for this little holiday getaway!

It’s OFFICIAL! Rob and I are headed back to Africa, and it will be sooner than later! has crafted an incredible itinerary for us. The best news is that we are able to take FIVE COUPLES with us!

This “Sipping and Safari” South African journey has us exploring wineries and vineyards, enjoying authentic African cuisine, and of course, embarking on an unbelievable safari experience.

The wonderful people of Napa Valley are in our thoughts and prayers today as wildfires continue to spread in California.

Hey there! 👋🏼 My name is Rob, and since I’m not usually one for selfies or solo shots, here’s a picture of me with my better half, Christen. We are so excited to get to know you and grow this community.

Here’s a little about me, and I hope you’ll introduce yourself too in the comments!

✧ Who I am: I am a managing director for a financial services firm, which means I’m a player/coach who helps clients build financial security while leading younger advisors as they build their practices. I love spending time with my entire family. They make my life so full! Since I don’t get to see my two legged children very often, my four legged one gets lots of attention.

✧ Favorite wine: I love to drink whatever wine is local to the region. When in Italy, I drink Chianti, when I’m in Germany, Gruner Veltliner. One of my favorites from Napa is Frank Family Chardonnay. It tastes like butterscotch.

✧ Favorite food: Fresh fish.

✧ Favorite destination: I love destinations where I can learn history and culture. The Amalfi coast of Italy, Antibes in South France. Quaint towns with beautiful scenery, rich history, and friendly people.

✧ My non-negotiable travel ritual: I don’t know if it’s a ritual, but I always take a picture of my car in the airport parking deck along with a sign that shows me what section I’m in. I don’t know if that is a ritual, a pro tip, or protection from my senility!

My name is Christen, and I’m one-half of the Timeless Travelers. I am excited to grow this community, and that starts with getting to know each other, so here’s a little bit about me. Please introduce yourself in the comments, and I’ll get Rob to introduce himself tomorrow!

✧ Who I am: I am the proud owner of , mom to 3 adult children, still in love with my husband after 28 years, and a food/wine/travel fanatic.

✧ Favorite wine: I love a great Cabernet Sauvignon. For me wine is about the experience and the story behind the making and growing of the wine and the people surrounding those stories. So choosing a favorite is hard, but some of my most fun wine experiences are from Regusci Winery and Mira Winery both in Napa Valley, and Fattoria Poggio Alloro in Tuscany.

✧ Favorite food: Any food that Rob Perry prepares! One of my most favorite restaurant experiences is La Tagliata in Positano, Italy. The views are the most amazing!

✧ Favorite destination: Every destination is a favorite because it’s an opportunity to learn more about our world, meet amazing humans, and experience great food and wine!

✧ My non-negotiable travel ritual: After making my way through TSA security, my first stop is Starbucks. Travel days are the only days I treat myself with a Skinny Vanilla Latte, extra hot. Rob says they named that drink after me. 😏

Hi there! We are Rob and Christen, and we invite you to join us in our newest adventure -- The Timeless Travelers. From Napa to Naples, we love experiencing all the history, culture, food, and wine a destination has to offer. And we want to share it with you!
