My wife and I were on our "babymoon" and found Sue a warm and welcoming host with lots of great suggestions for things to do, places to eat and beaches to relax on. A highly recommended holiday home, the yurt is beautiful, the facilities perfect and the hot tub is the cherry on top!! Book it for a week and you won't be sorry”

“This is a truly memorable experience. The views to the sea, the cactus lit up at night on the hillside. Sitting in the hot tub beneath the stars. These all add to the magic of the yurt itself. The pictures do not do justice to the space and colours that provide a lovely energy within the yurt. Sue is a welcoming and most helpful host. Knowing the locality well Sue was able to book a table for us at very good restaurant so we could celebrate our 25th anniversary. We would love to come back and stay again. ”

“Sue is a very good host. She had everything prepared for us when we arrived - including tasty breakfast ingredients and gave us a tour of the yurt, the whirlpool bath and our adjacent private bathroom and the well equipped kitchen. The yurt is really spacious and even though we didn't have the best weather conditions (rain + storm warning) it was a pleasure to sleep in there. On the one hand it feels like being outdoors with all the fresh air and on the other hand with the nice acoustic it feels cozy. Due to the layout of her house and the yurt we felt like the only people on the island from time to time. The whirlpool bath helped to improve this feeling even more. We are sure that we will come back one day and can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a special romantic getaway. Thanks, Sue!”

“Such a special place! We absolutely enjoyed the outside life, being in the middel of amazing views while also being surrounded with lots of luxury - a super nice design room, so cosy! And our own whirlpool bath in the garden… In other review it said: ‘Looking at the start at night’, and i it sounded like a fairytale but it all turned out to be true. Sue was an amazing host as well, very helpful and completely respecting our privacy. A lovely woman to meet. Sometimes it was a bit hard to leave the relaxed patio to see more of the island, but then again, the yurt is so central that we eventually saw every corner of Lazarote. All together; it was so great to stay here! Thank you Sue! ”

“We had a fantastic time at sues yurt. Sue is such a lovely Person and we enjoyed every second. The view was great an the Star watching in the jaccuzi every night was very relaxing and beautiful. Sue was always reachable for questions and when we first arrived in the evening our fridge was Full with Cheese, cava, etc...thank you Sue we had an awesome Stay at your special place!!!”

“Absolutely, extremely, totally amazing! There is nothing better than to chill out in a hot tub under the stars on such awesome island as Lanzarote. This accomodation is great for people who are seeking escape from the loud cities and want to be in nature and in the same time want to enjoy luxuries of the civilization. It is also a perfect location for travelling around the island by car. Sue is also wonderful host :)”

“Five stars plus from our side. For us the best place to stay on the island. It's central located and very quiet next to the beautiful landscape of the winerys. You can reach everything within an hour. The yurt is very comfy. You find a terrace with an amazing view and it's also cosy to spend the time inside when it's raining. We liked the open kitchen and bathroom although we don't had the warmest temperature. We had a cheerful welcome from Sue who filled the fridge for us with delicious prosciutto, cheese and prosecco. One of the best things... the whirlpool bath! We would definitely recommend the yurt to our friends and I'm looking forward to come back soon. We had a great time. Thank you sue! Andy and Sonja ”

“Sue is a fantastic and warm and beautiful person. The jurt is amazing. We came late in the evening and Sue gave us cava, chips, chocolate, cheese, ham and bread. So fantastic that she thought about all those things, that made it even more perfect. We absolutely want to go back because it's so peaceful and beautiful there. The whirlpool bath is amazing especially with a glass of cava :) And Sue thought about everything in her beautiful place. All the details in the jurt, kitchen and bathroom still makes me smile. And the island is very beautiful and nice to see by car. So don't doubt go there but not all the time because we want to go there too :)”

Just recieved this lovely review from Clive ...thankyou xx !!!! Its not everyday you get the chance to stay in a yurt, and so we jumped at the chance to stay here for the last few days we had on Lanzarote. It exceeded expectations - it was pure bliss to relax in the whirlpool bath under the stars and the yurt was extremely comfortable and quiet (other than the birds outside). Since it was January we thought it might be chilly at night, but it stayed cosy inside from the heat of the day - this wasn’t a problem at all. Sue was a great host with helpful recommendations for the area, restaurants, etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!!

" My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying in the Yurt. It is everything you could hope for and more. Sue's attention to detail is excellent. She is really friendly and helpful. The yurt is well located for exploring the island - it is in a fairly central position - You are best hiring a car to explore. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and watching the stars after a busy day of exploring the island. Even in January at night, the Yurt keeps its warmth inside - it is really lovey and cosy. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the great memories.”

Another lovely review .... Thankyou for taking the time to write ................................... Once you are in Sue's yurt you simply don't want to leave! Photos don't give enough justice to it. Everything is been perfect, from Sue welcoming, to the cava she left for us to drink in the whirlpool bath, to the snacks for us hungry travellers, to the location which is truly amazing, to the privacy of the place that makes you feel in heaven away from the touristic and anonymous areas. It's been such a relaxing and re-energising experience to be right into the nature and pampered with a bit of luxury... Sue also gave us fantastic tips about where to eat something special, thing that added an extra touch to our days in Lanzarote. It's been the first time we slept in a yurt and our concern was with the temperature in the night being in december, but as Sue told us, the yurt does keep the warmth of the day and even if the last couple of days it was very windy and chilly in lanzarote, the yurt has been a very cosy and warm nest for us. There is everything you need in the kitchen in case you want to cook your own meal. Wifi works great too. Location is good if you rent a car, from there you can easily reach all the other places to visit on the island. Thank you Sue for making our trip something to remember! :-) ”

It has exceeded our expectations! An excellent stay in the mongolian yurt! Incredible facilities, everything super clean, luxury full-blown! Sue is lovely and took our great during our stay. The location is perfect, in the middle of the island if you have a car you are very central to get around everywhere. The best experience for unwinding and relaxing holiday! The hot tub at night looking at the stars of the best !! A pleasure and repeat for sure !!

Sue's beautiful yurt is located on a hill in a very peaceful and quite area, Which is great for relaxing but Also a good starting point for exploring the island. The great view is Also a big plus! Also Sue was really nice and helpful and since we liked her place so much, we even Prolonged our stay ! The kitchen is well equipped and Sue put some treats in the fridge for us at arrival - That was really nice! Also there was a grill and some coal and the Entire place was really clean and well maintained. We had a great experience, comparable to a very luxurious way of camping and perfect for us to unwind - we can really recommend to stay in Sue's yurt!

What a treat! Sleeping in our own little corner between two hilltops. Looking at the stars at night, listening to the birds, sipping champagne & chilling in the whirlpool bath... perfect holiday!

At arrival, the fridge was filled with all kinds of treats for us hungry travelers. Sue... is absolutely wonderful. A perfect host and then some :)

Plus:

- large bed, suitable for people over 6"/1.82m
- The setup is basic and clean, but still feels luxurious. The kitchen provides you with everything you will need on your stay.

- spacious yurt with enough storage space, various seats and table

- comfortable and very private deck with whirlpool bath, sun beds and barbecue

- romantic lighting inside and outside the yurt

- quiet neighborhood

- shop and local tapas bar nearby....

Ha superado nuestras expectativas! Una estancia inmejorable en la mongolian yurt! Instalaciones increibles, todo super limpio, un lujo en toda regla! Sue es encantadora y nos atendió genial durante nuestra estancia. La localización es perfecta, en medio de la isla, si tienes coche estas muy céntrico para moverte por todos lados. La mejor experiencia para desconectar y pasar unas vacaciones relajadas! El whirlpool bath por la noche mirando las estrellas de lo mejor!! Un placer y repetiremos seguro!!

La tienda es preciosa y la cocina y el baño muy bien equipados. Las vistas son muy bonitas. Sue, la proprietaria, es una persona encantadora, amable y sonriente, se preocupó mucho por nosotros y nuestro bienestar. Es un sitio muy recomendable!

The experience was great! The yurt is very nice and has transported us in a very nice place :) Take a glass of champagne in the whirlpool bath, watching the stars was an absolute treat! Sue thank you very much for your attention and your availability. Nous avons passé un très bon dans cette magnifique yourte moment. It prélasser whirlpool bath dans le avec une coupe of champagne in regardant them étoiles à été un très grand luxe! Je vous recommande vivement if isolé souhaitez être des zones touristiques et vivre une autre expérience qu'un hotel.

Esta yurta de impresionante diseño es perfecta para los que buscan paz y tranquilidad. No es adecuada para familias con niños. El alojamiento es independiente y tiene acceso privado. Está ubicada en un lugar tranquilo, cerca de un pueblo y tiene un supermercado y un bar de tapas local bien surtido. Hay algunas rutas de senderismo y está en la ruta triatlón Ironman así también es un gran terreno para aquellos que deséen practicar deportes. Hay un autobús local que le llevará a la principal zona turística de Puerto del Carmen, a sólo 10 minutos en coche desde la yurta, donde hay una estación de autobuses

This stunningly designed yurt is perfect when seeking peace and quiet.
Not suitable for families with children.

The accomodation is independent and has private access.

I love the quiet village location and we have the benefit of a well stocked local supermarket and tapas bar which offers great value for money. There are some great walking routes and we are just off the Ironman triathalon route so also great terrain for those of you in training.

There is a local bus which takes you to the main tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen, just a 10 minute drive away where there is a bus terminal.
