The thought of covering Jodhpur in one day seemed very silly to me. When my wife proposed this plan I was pretty sure that sheer disappointment awaited us. However as the day began we started our journey and one by one the gems of Jodhpur baffled us!

First we visited "Umaid Bhavan" palace which took about an hour to see. Most of the palace is not accessible to visitors, only the museum part entertains common people.

Then we zoomed up to MEHRENGARH fort which left us in complete awe! We booked an audio tour which was really good and value for money. It took us about three hours to tour the fort. You can find out all about it in our video.

Last stop was Jaswant Thada which is a memorial built in white marble known as the Taj Mahal of Rajasthan. There again it took us about 30 mins to see it.

Last but not the least we took a drop in the main market area known as the ghanta Ghar from where we had a sumptuous late lunch and my wife indulged in a whole lot of shopping!

Total cost for 2= transport rs.500( auto for the three points)
Food. Rs.400
Shopping. Don't ask.
