American entrepreneur Jim Rohn once said that “if you share a good idea long enough, it will eventually fall on good people.” In the case of GlobeTrott Travel, it didn’t take that long.⁣

Our story started when our co-founder Simona (Simona Sutaviciute) was travelling to Beijing 🇨🇳 a couple of years ago (pre-covid). She wanted to learn about Chinese history along with fascinating facts that are difficult to find online and therefore booked a tour guide. ⁣
⁣
It was a disappointment as the tour focused on grand landmarks only. ⁣
⁣
On her way back, she started sketching the ideas for a travel product that would provide personalised insights and recommendations. ⁣
⁣
Some months later she was still conducting research about the potential of this product and shared this with her childhood friend Vaida (Vaida Greičiūtė) who has been running several technology companies herself. ⁣
⁣
What happened later?⁣
⁣
Simona joined forces with Vaida and other co-founders of Corner Case Technologies and our story began.⁣
⁣
