I love this place. Best condo development on the Big Island from my perspective. Peaceful sunrises, staggering sunsets, hammocks in the breeze, flowers galore, birds … it’s everything you’d want in a Hawaiian destination vacation.

Good morning in Waikoloa Beach. Someone renting our place sent me these pictures this morning. I can hear the birds chirping and feel the warmth of the sun rising.
Winter in Waikoloa (Beach)? I get asked quite a hit about the weather in the winter. While it can vary throughout the islands and what side of the island you’re on; Waikoloa is consistently warm, dry and sunny. With only about 10” of rain per year it’s one of the driest places in Hawaii. Not to fret rain lovers, it’s a short drive up and over the mountain the mountain to Hilo or around Mt Kohala to Hawi to get your lush tropical fix. Even Kona can get a ‘Kona low’ that can dump the rains. I was at the airport for one of those and water just stream through the seating area. It was kinda cool.
In any case, pick Waikoloa if you wan to count on sun, spectacular sunsets and winter whale watching.

Be careful not to overbook yourself. It’s Hawaii, and part of the magic of the islands is losing yourself in the beauty of it all.
Space space and more space … 3 bedrooms to spread out and enjoy your vacation. Lights off in one doesn’t mean everyone else needs to go to bed too.
1. Primary en-suite with King Bed and walk in closet
2. Queen Bed (shared full bathroom)
3. Two twins (shared full bathroom): these beds can be combined together to form King by request only.
There’s never a bad day sitting on the patio. Kona coffee watching the sunrise over Mt Kohala, cocktails with sunset over the Pacific, grilling the local freshest catch from Da Fish House at Kawaihae Marketplace … never a moment that doesn’t feel like vacation.
Can’t all be sunsets, beaches and vibes … I also need to share actual pictures of what you’re renting ;-)
Bathroom with Koa oars is en-suite and the other is the shared bath for the queen room and two twin beds.
Entrance to our three bedroom two full bath condo at a Hali’i Kai in Waikoloa. Hali’i Kai is Waikoloa’s premier waterfront gated subdivision. Just inside this door is full laundry facilities and activities closet. Turn left and there is a room with a queen bed, a room with two twins and a bathroom. (See additional pictures). To the right is Kitchen, dining living room and private en-suite bedroom.
