【Member News】Snake-shaped lantern installation set up at Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden to welcome Chinese New Year
The annual Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival is set to light up Shanghai on New Year's Day to mark the upcoming Year of the Snake.
The 42-day lantern festival at Yuyuan Garden features a diverse collection of lanterns, especially snake-shaped lantern installations to mark 2025's zodiac creature. Harbin Ice and Snow World opens with a host of exciting features
The world's largest ice-and-snow theme park has expanded to a massive 1 million square meters, the largest scale in its 26-year history, up from 810,000 square meters last year. A total of 300,000 cubic meters of ice and snow were used to create this year's displays.
Themed "Dream of Winter, Love among Asia," this year's park draws inspiration from the upcoming 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, which are scheduled to take place in the city from February 7 to 14 next year. The article credit to CGTN

In 2025, the ITB Berlin Convention will once again be the global hotspot for networking and exchanging knowledge. The travel industry's leading think tank will host a total of 17 theme tracks on four stages that will examine current issues concerning sustainability, technology, corporate culture and many other topics. The content is curated by a board of leading industry experts, ensuring that the tracks offer practical, up-to-date and innovative insights and include high-profile speakers. ITB Berlin’s livestreamed events on all four stages will provide the global travel community with added value. As well as being livestreamed, the sessions will be available afterwards on the YouTube channel of ITB Berlin.

Beijing will host three major international winter sports events from late November to early December, the ISU Speed Skating World Cup, the FIS Snowboard and the Freestyle Ski Big Air World Cup, and the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup, officials said at a press conference on November 19.

【Member News】Harbin extravaganza to expand ahead of 9th Asian Winter Games
The landmark ice-and-snow theme park in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, will expand ahead of the ninth Asian Winter Games, said local authorities.
The Ice-Snow World, built on the northern bank of the Songhua River which flows through the city, will cover a million square meters in the coming snow season, up from 810,000 square meters in the last season. With its size equivalent to 140 football pitches.
The ninth Asian Winter Games in Harbin, scheduled for February 7-14, 2025, will see record participation. More than 1,500 athletes from 34 countries and regions have registered so far.
