LOTS of BIG news coming from the D23 Expo this weekend! Here are some of the highlights. What are YOU most excited about?? 🏰🚢✨
Disneyland-
➡️ Hulk meet and greet coming to Avengers Campus.
➡️ All new attraction is coming to Avengers Campus featuring a new villain, King Thanos.
➡️ Big Hero 6 land, themed after San Fransokyo and including a Baymax meet and greet, is coming to California Adventure.
➡️ Updates coming to Mickey’s Toontown including the addition of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
➡️ A new Mando and Grogu meet and greet is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
➡️ Pixar Place Hotel coming to Disneyland Resort.
➡️ More than a dozen new retail locations are coming to Downtown Disney, including Din Thai Fun and Portos Bakery & Cafe.
➡️ RunDisney races are returning to Disneyland in 2024.
➡️ Tiana’s Palace Restaurant and Eudora’s Chic Boutique are coming to Disneyland Park

Walt Disney World
➡️ An updated Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular is returning to Magic Kingdom in 2023.
➡️ A new land is coming to Magic Kingdom, featuring CoCo, Encanto, and Disney Villains. This will be the largest expansion to Magic Kingdom.
➡️ Zootopia and Moana are coming to Animal Kingdom in a reimagined Dinoland.
➡️ The Hatbox Ghost is coming to Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park.
➡️ Figment will return to EPCOT with a meet and greet.
➡️ Moana: Journey of Water at EPCOT will open in late 2023.
➡️ Tron Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom will open in spring 2023.
➡️ A new “Walt the Dreamer” statue will be coming to World Celebration in EPCOT.
➡️ A 16-Foot statue of Te Fiti will be in Moana: Journey of Water at EPCOT.
➡️ Splash Mountain at both Disney World and Disneyland are getting a re-theme to The Princess and the Frog and will be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The re-themes should be completed by the end of 2024.

Disney Cruise Line
➡️ Aladdin and Jasmine will be the atrium statue aboard the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Treasure.
➡️ The Disney Wonder is going to Australia and New Zealand. Repositioning cruises will be in the South Pacific. Destinations include Fiji and Samoa.
➡️ Construction on Disney’s new private island port-of-call in the Bahamas, Lighthouse Point, is still underway.

Disney Springs shopping, dining, and entertainment district is a short (and relaxing!) boat ride from the Port Orleans Resorts. You can also rent surrey bikes and take horse drawn carriage rides at Riverside, and enjoy the variety of beautiful architecture at French Quarter. Lots to do here outside of the parks!

Dinner with Snow White, The Queen, D***y (my fav!), and Grumpy at Wilderness Lodge’s Artist’s Point is enchanting! The Queen steals the show, and it’s in one of my all-time favorite resorts!
