I’ve not posted on this page for a while... whoops! Here’s some pics of where we’re at so far 🤙

Cladding nearly done, just need to finish off the back doors.

Stud walls done.

Chairs / 2nd bed are nearly done too.

I’ve run a test in the electrics and we’re all good to go, nearly ready for painting!

Cladding almost done, just need to do the stud walls, then painting can start. Diesel heater temporarily put in too, need all the cables and pipes fixing down properly, I’ll post a pic or two when it’s in but at least I’m not freezing my butt off in the van! Making good progress, and should see some big changes over the next week or two 👊🤙

Feels like working for NASA building a spaceship 🚀
Today’s mission...
✅ Solar panels - 360W
✅ Insulation - 50mm polystyrene and a layer of thermal foil wrap, equivalent of another 50mm polystyrene and vapour barrier to prevent condensation

What do you do when you’re eager to start working on the van but need to wait for things to be delivered?? You plan!

After lots of sketches and head scratching I think this is the layout I’m going to go for.

🔵 fridge/gas hob
🟣 counter top/storage
⚫️ spice rack/bedside storage
🟡 full double bed
🟠 overhead storage
⚪️🟤 seats/table that converts to second single bed

We did it, we bought another van! Really looking forward to this project, there will be a few upgrades on what I did in Big Max (which will be up for sale soon) like a hot water shower, Belfast sink, and a few extra sneaky surprises along the way.
