Your stateroom size really matters. Most people don't pay attention to it and there are some pretty big discrepancies between one of the most commonly known companies and other companies on some rivers. You can upgrade your way out of those tiny rooms but the most common room with the French balcony is nearly this small on some ships.
When my husband and I are in here with our two suitcases, we can hardly move. If you're paying that much for a river cruise, you deserve something bigger than a child's bedroom.

I get a lot of people approaching me wanting to know if I have any "magic airfare prices" because airfare continues to be really high. Most of the time, these people have booked everything else with their vacation except their airfare and now they can't find cheap prices and want my help.
Do I have "magic airfare" not available to the public? Yes and No. But, I wouldn't call it "magic". It's more like just professional resources consumers may not have access to or know about.
First of all, I am not compensated when I spend an hour trying to find you cheaper airfare - even if you let me book it. Airlines do not pay commission just for booking a flight. I have professional ideas about how you can potentially find something less than what you have found, but, unless you agree to pay something for my time and expertise, it's not something I jump at the chance to do because most people who want just airfare will never use my services for anything else in the future. I MUCH prefer that you bring me your total vacation idea and let me book at least your hotels and then I'm happy to help you with airfare.
If you come to me and want me to book your hotel, cruise or tour, then I DO have ways I can potentially save you money and will be happy to look for a cheaper airfare for you because my time will be compensated through the booking of other elements.
Sometimes I can package the airfare with a hotel and get what's called an "unpublished fare" and a negotiated hotel price for packaging that makes it cheaper than doing both separately. Sometimes a company might offer a great deal on airfare when you book their cruise or tour and we can get that for you.
Those are ways you can get cheaper airfare. But if you are just looking for cheap airfare because you can't find it yourself, I don't really have any special magic places to book it BEYOND what I know about airfare pricing and how it works. Black Friday is 30 days away. There are always Black Friday travel deals, however, it's also such a busy time that most Travel Agents aren't really watching and posting most of them. I will be in between Hawaii and London and with my family so I won't be posting much that week, however I will most likely see every sale that lands in my email box.

Most sales will be for cruises, small group tours and packaged rail journeys with the occasional vacation package like flights and a resort together.
