Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the holidays is a must!
The Merry Menagerie (as you may have guessed) was one of the highlights of our day! The puppets and their puppeteers are so incredible. The boys loved their interactions with the puppets. Talk to the puppeteers to learn more about their Arctic friend such as their name 🤍
Another of our favorites was seeing the characters with some holiday accessories added to their outfits. I think it’s safe to say that Chip and Dale with their Christmas lights and reindeer antlers were our favorite! So stinking cute!!!
When you visit the Disney parks during different times of the year, it can be a completely different experience!

My thoughts on the new special ticketed event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Jollywood Nights -
✨First, I love how so many guests took the marketing of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood to heart and got all dressed up! You all looked fabulous despite how cold it was this night!
✨The vibe in the areas of the park that the event had focused in was amazing! The live performers were amazing, the decorations (that are installed only after Hollywood Studios has closed to day guests) were beautiful.
✨I did take the time to do a couple of rides because when I was having a mom night out and I wouldn’t have otherwise enjoyed these attractions this trip. Yes, Rise of the Resistance broke down but it did come back up relatively quickly and Tower of Terror had a 13 minute wait (aka was a walk on) almost all night.
✨This was my first time seeing Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam which was previously the holiday spectacular for Hollywood Studios during normal operational hours. It was a great show but but I don’t think it fit the Hollywood glamor vibe of the evening.
Overall, I think this event has amazing potential! Especially as a holiday event aimed more for adults. I had a great evening with a nice mix of characters, shows, rides and foods. Would I do this event again? If I had some others with me, yes absolutely!! There were a lot of solo people like myself checking out the event, but it is for sure a great event for friends and family to get dressed up and have fun with.
